Well their website does not say that they are cancelling interviews, it says that if you become ill to request your appointment to be reschedule, because if you show up on the date of your appointment they will cancel your appointment on the spot if you look ill, and reschedule it for you; did you received a cancellation notice?

I did not received a cancellation notice myself, but I saw some people who got a notification that their interview will be rescheduled.

That's a shame, I just hope they don't start proactively reschedule the interview, and hopefully the individuals that have received that notice is because they requested it.

Anyone who has done their interview in the last couple weeks got their naturalization ceremony letter yet? Do you think because of the COVID-19 ceremony will be postponed?

Those who had the ceremony in Seattle today still had a ceremony but no family members could be present due to the current ban on gatherings of more than 50 people here in WA.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

Look like all USCIS offices are closed until April 1 at least which means no interviews or oath ceremonies. So sad.

This is a message from USCIS field office washington DC/ Fairfax office

Just got a notification that USCIS closed all offices untill April1 . My interview is on April 21st . Do you guys think they will reschedule me even tho the closures doesn’t affect my date?

Mine is April 6. For now, it is closed until April 1. If they reopen on April 1, I think they won't cancel interviews after April 1. unless they have to extend their office closure beyond April 1.

My interview is April 13, they message states that they will cancel and reschedule the interviews that are affected by the closure, so I don't believe our interview appointments will be affected unless they extend the closure period and our  appointments are affected due to that.

Not being pessimistic here but I don’t see this is getting over by 1st April. This will go takeaway until end of April so brace yourself!! I am I the same boat with interview on 6th April.

Congrats, that's awesome news! I also have my oath at ATL office next week (4th) and was wondering how long the ceremony is. I have an important meeting on the same day and was thinking if I need to reschedule my meeting or not.. how long was your ceremony and can I leave the venue as soon as I get the Naturalization cert based on your experience? Thanks!

My apologies, I have not logged on here since I made my post.

How did your oath ceremony go? Yes, it was quick.

I was scheduled for an interview on March 16, 2020. USCIS San Diego Field Office called me on March 14, 2020, Saturday, to inform me that all interview appointments on March 16, 2020 onwards are cancelled and they would be sending letters to all applicants.

Hello!

I figured I'd ask the vets who had already passed the trenches or those close to the finishing line :) I'm about to submit the online application under the 3 year rule.

Quick question, I tried to find it online but no success so far.

Part 10 Question 8 - How many times has your current spouse been married?

Neither my husband nor I were married before, so we answered "No" when asked if we had been married previously in the online application. However, when I downloaded N400 form in the end of the online application, it was automatically filled out as "1" in Part 10 Q3 (How many times have you been married) and "0" in Part 10 Q8 (How many times has your current spouse been married). I was told that Part 10 Q8 should be "1" in our case, but there is no way for me to change it in the actual form as the online question is worded a little differently.

Your advice would be really appreciated!

Thanks

My interview is supposed to be on April 13, 2020 in D.C area. USCIS canceled the interview due to unforeseen circumstances and will advised  me for further action. Anyone receive the same letter?

My interview is on April 6 in DC as well, but did not receive any cancellation yet. I just checked my account and document tab and nothing. How did you get notified? Via mail or on you USCIS account?
