@Alimanu I had my interview yesterday and my ceremony has been scheduled already. I don't know when exactly it will be because the letter isn't showing up on the USCIS website yet. However my "estimated completion date" jumped from Feb to May. Any update on your side of things yet?

Same thing happened after I had my interview in December. Completion time move from Jan to Mar. However, my Oath Ceremony was on Jan 16. It will be very soon!

Wow! Congrats... My letter showed up online a day later. I wouldn't worry about the estimated completion.

I bought to the interview: Current and Expired Passport. GC, Marriage Cert, my partners birth certificate (They are the US Citizen). Some 'co-mingled living' evidence.

I was asked to show justGC and the current passport.

Good day everyone,

Has anyone here  filed at the D.C. office by the end of September and have received their interview appointment yet?, I'm trying to keep my hopes up that I will get it soon.

Hello all,

I was K1 but got divorced. I have a GC now. I am from the Middle East.
It is about time to apply for N400.
I am not sure how easy or hard the interview and the officer questions about why did you get divorce in less than a year.

My question, do I have to hire a lawyer. Or it is ok/easy to do it by myself?
I am just worried about the interview since I was married and divorced through K1 waiver

Thanks.

I filed September 15 and have not received interview notice yet. But I guess they are already sending interview notices for people who applied early september.

My interview is early morning on Monday in San Antonio. I am bringing the originals asked in the interview notice. Not sure if I need to bring photocopies of those originals as well? Do I also need to bring copies of the additional relationship evidence I supplied with my application?

How do you folks decide what to bring?

Just be honest and tell them why did you get divorced if they ask. It shouldn`t be any problem.

Hello everyone,  I'm so glad I found this thread.  My 400 interview was on January 23rd, in Kentucky and my file wasn't there but he interviewed me anyway.

So 2 weeks later and I'm starting to stress.

He said I passed the civics etc and unless there were ex spouses and criminal convictions not known on my application, I'd be fine.  The firm said a decision couldn't be made at this time.

I need a judge to preside due to a name change which may take longer   but I'm starting to get anxious.

Anyone else have something like this happen....thx

Ours is this week too, we are bringing the originals mentioned in the letter and our most recent bank statements/financial evidence. Also copies of the submitted application and the tax transcripts. Good luck for your interview and please post tomorrow how it went!

Thank you for your response, I am starting to get desperate, just because I have a trip overseas and don't want it to interfere with my process.
