Thanks to all.....I'll HOPE for a fast interview, but be realistic about the Montreal Waiting Room, sigh. It's a bitter sweet situation; if we get the October date we're hoping for, we will have better weather for the wedding. We're planning to fly to Georgia (jekyll island...weather sounds great, and Doug says there's no better place for "Sybil" to get married, LOLOL). But we'll have to file and HOPE for an emergency parole, as Doug's Dad is getting a hip replaced 10/22 and will need Doug's help!

Hopefully now that they will not be processing Applications from people resident in the US, things will start moving faster. (Keeping fingers crossed) and maybe they can come back down to the 2-4 months mentioned on my P3 letter :)

Congrats on Packet 3!!

You might be better off seeing if their is some sort of humanitarian waiver since it is for a scheduled surgery. I would think they would have a hard time justifying a surgery scheduled at least four months in advance an emergency.

Good luck

Couldn't have said it better myself Lance ;) Hopefully that will be the case.

Welcome to the waiting room guys, and brace yourselves for the ride of a lifetime!!! And remember, no question is a stupid question (though at least I don't promise non-stupid answers he he).

Best, Len.
