Hey Everybody!

We have been waiting for my husband's SSN and Card for what feels like an abnormal amount of time.

Here is our timeline:

05/23/19 - Entered US

06/28/19 - Applied for SSN

06/30/19 - Wedding Day

07/26/19 - Went back to Social Security Office and was told nothing

Today - Still nothing

Our status on Save Case Check says on June 28th - SAVE has returned your case to Maryland - Social Security Administration, SSA

I have no idea what's going on, who to call, or what our next steps should be?

06/30/19 - Wedding Day!!

07/17/19 - AOS Packet Mailed

07/19/19 - AOS Received

07/24/19 - NOA1 Date

08/16/19 - Biometric Appt.

09/25/19 - Interview Ready to be Scheduled

10/16/19 - Interview was Scheduled

12/05/19 - Interview Day

You could try going to another SSA office.

Small update on our end: My husband called and spoke to someone at the office. When we applied, we had to go through an additional verification because the status wasn't matching up. Well I guess what's supposed to happen is once they received the "okay" they send it out to get the number. Well apparently the guy didn't do that, so now we have to wait another 3-4 weeks for the card!I think it's only been a little over a week now... so more waiting

We called to SSA Maryland but they couldn't say anything about my case and offered to call to DHS. We called there but they said they sent my case to Maryland and have no information about my case either. Nobody know where is my case. Culd you tell me what office your husband called to? Local SSA or Maryland's SSA?
