Hello everybody,

I am filling in the I130 with my wife and her entire work history is for one employer but she get paid under the table and her boss lives abroad so there is no physical address in Ukraine for her work. She works completely remotely on her computer.

How should I present this information? We can't put a physical address as there isn't one. Should we just use the address where she lives, as she is working there?

Thanks!

Just now, little immigrant said:

When you say "under the table" does it mean illegal?

I've noticed Americans use tbe expression "under the table" way to lightly and think it's legal.

It's illegal. Her boss isn't paying taxes in Ukraine.

Yes you list it....anything else is misrepresentation.

She can list her address. It won't be an issue for an immigrant visa.

"under the table" is extremely common in Ukraine's economy, and it's generally not done by the employee's preference, but rather the employer.

IR1/CR1 and IR2/CR2 important dates:

Country:/Embassy: Kyiv, Ukraine

USCIS : Texas Service Center

NOA1: Feb 6 2019

NOA2: Aug 8, 2019

Interview Date: Feb 25, 2020

My ex-wife received a large portion of her salary under the table in Ukraine. Nobody in US immigration cares. Just list the employment as normal...

Finally done...
