  • Oct 31 2019: IV Fee Paid (Currently 'In Process')
  • Nov 1 2019: IV Fee charge on my bank account

For us it took 50 days of I129f. Hang in there!!!

Our CR1 Journey:

 

USCIS Stage:

  • Feb 14 2019: NOA1 (NSC)
  • July 31 2019: I129f NOA1
  • Sep 19 2019: I129f NOA2 (Denied - 50 days from NOA1)
  • Sep 19 2019: I130 NOA2 (Approved - 217 days from NOA1)

 

NVC Stage:

  • Sep 27 2019: Sent to Department of State
  • Oct 31 2019: Case number received (34 days since sent)
  • Nov 1 2019: IV & AOS fees received & paid
  • Nov 14 2019: IV & AOS submitted
  • Dec 18 2019: All docs accepted, but one additional doc requested (5 weeks from submission)
  • Dec 18 2019: Requested doc submitted
  • Feb 19 2020: Documentarily Qualified (9 weeks from 2nd submission, 14 weeks from first submission)

 

Interview Stage:

  • Mar 11 2020: Interview letter received
  • Apr 1 2020: Interview date
  • Mar 17 2020: Interview cancelled due to COVID-19
  • August 3 2020: Rescheduled letter received, new appointment August 25 2020
  • August 25 2020: Visa approved at interview! (558 days from NOA1)
  • September 10 2020: Embassy received passport in mail
  • September 15 2020: Passport with visa in hand

 

October 11 2020: Arrived in US!

I know!!! Infact i remember checking my case status because of your comment about your case being sent to NVC, and thats when i had received the same update too!

i agree I-129F is easy compared to I-130 and it’s free lol 

you don’t need a lawyer . Save your money for a good restaurant with you love one ahah 

and if you have any doubt feel free to ask ! 

If all are filing a I130 why do you all have IR-1 filing on filed for??😳 Am I missing something????

I130 is only the first step in getting IR1

I called today and was also told they are working on cases received on 09/11.  Mine was received on 09/18 so I should hear in a week or so I hope!

Well, USCIS website finally updated to say I130 approved... only took 11 days post receipt of written letter, case tracker not yet updated... still no text or email alerts even though turned on..

 

goes to show, your notification can come in all different ways

Ours was sent to NVC on 9/9/19 and we just got a case number yesterday 10/10/19. My guess is that yours will be any day now! You’ll both get emails - petitioner and applicant.

It's the typical "someone whose whicheverstep was finished after ours got news first"-anxiety-inducing-nervous lol... I can be enough of a pessimist to be scared they'll lose our paperwork or something.

Oh I’m the same way! I had to take a break from viewing posts several times during this entire process so far!
