they say that they are currently working on August 29th ,2019.

are some people with NVC received on September 10th like me ?
I am pretty sure that I am gonna « fall » into the new public charge rule at that pace ..

i am drained honestly..

NVC received my case on September 10 and I'm still waiting for case number as well. If we get a case number on Monday (October 7) and if it takes 72 hours to process the payment we might be able to submit documents before October 14. Fingers crossed!

Let’s hope the courts put this change on hold.

I'm pretty sure you all are misinterpreting the new rules.

Can you please advise if i need to pay additional fee for I129F or just for I-130 and do i send both of the documents together. Also in addition, Do i fill out G 325 and also i don't understand what I 130A form is for.

Absolutely worth filing. Our I130 is Feb 14 2019, we filed I129f July 31, now we were just approved with the I130/denied I129f around 2 weeks ago on September 19 2019 (50 days after filing I129f) and sent off to NVC already (8 days after approval) and now we're waiting for case number. I estimate we shaved around half a year or more off of our processing time by filing I129f. It won't affect the original I130 process save for making it a lot faster

125% is still the minimum.

250% is a great positive factor.

This type of weight factoring already happens at the NVC/Embassy level. That's why people come back posting 'But I make enough, and they still want a joint sponsor' Now it's official.

There is no fee for I129f with a pending I130, just the I130 fee, I would wait to submit the I129f until you get the letter NOA1 for the I130 so that they can be more easily linked together, not sure how exactly it works when you send them at the same time. G325 is no longer used. I130a is required to send with your I130 in the same packet. I130a is supplemental information on spouse beneficiary, it has to be included in the same package as your I130 and other evidences. I would also include form G1145 (request for electronic notification) so that you can get texts and emails whenever there is an update on your case

Ok that’s more clear now thank you .

i have a question if you don’t mind  because I am lost in something .
They talk about alien assets , ressources

I didn’t work this year for personal reason so I have no income and what I have was used  to pay my mom funeral so no more savings ... And as I live in an island , work is 7 to 8 months most of the time and then depending on how much we do , I receive some money of the gouvernement the deal being searching a work during that time ( not this year - as I didn’t work I didn’t ask this help)

could it be an issue ?
if you can “enlighten my lantern “ would be nice 🙏

thank you

Not sure if both of your cases went to same NVC? I wonder if one NVC has more delay than the other?

It would help to know typical time frame to receive case number. I assume someone here may have gone through this journey and might be able to give some idea. Thanks
