Gabrobill, thanks. For the cases, you tracked, do you recall approximate time frame to hear decision on I-129F? I am seeing anywhere between 7 months to 13 months for I-129F decision.... depending on which service it goes to. Thanks for your response.

So like the friend above said, if your i130 is at nebraska then your i129f will also be sent there, necessarily. According to what I've seen from my tracking, its been taking around 1,5 month...some take longer, some are faster...as i said, mine took 2 months. I also saw a few people who applied on the first days of july and that only got approved 2 weeks ago... there's not really a pattern. But one thing is certain: you will get your approval way faster than if you don't fill it.

Fill it out asap. I used to keep some statistics about all the I129F sent between july 1st-18th (so i could keep up with my own k3 process, which was sent on july 18th), and all i can tell you is that 76 out of 93 were already denied and got their i130 approved, last time i checked (around 2 weeks ago). Our i130 PD was march 13 and we got approved 60 days after sending it. It won't affect your i130 process at all. We shouldn't have to do this, but unfortunately it's been the only way to get through Nebraska lately...

Did any of those I130 you were following have an IOE receipt number?  Or all LIN?

To those who filed I-129F after i-130, did you guys have to pay $535 fees for I-129F again. Thats what I see on I-129F instruction...

Nope. The fees apply to those filing the I-129F for K1.

You are welcome 🙏

i am currently waiting for my case number at NVC .. case received 09/10/2019

i was approved on 08/08/2019 but my case was sent from NSC to NVC on 09/03/2019

I-129F helped a lot ! It took 1 month to be approved in my case .
right now if we didn’t make it I am not sure that I will be already at NVC
i hope to receive this case number soon and move fast because NSC drained me ..

we hope to move early January . We definitely understood that we can not be with the family for Christmas .

Thank you very much sharing, and wishing you and your family all the best. I am looking into I-129F requirements. After completing i-130, i-129 seems like walk in a park... and doesn't seem I need to go through my immigration attorney again.

hello everyone,

I have a question regarding the 129F. I filed the 130 in February and i got pregnant end of march. My due date is mid December. My husband went back to USA to find a job. We don't want to wait another 5 months after giving birth to be reunited with my husband, It was already really hard to be away from each other for our first pregnancy.

My question is do I have the right to fill the 129F while being close to my due date without mentioning that I am pregnant? I see that you can include child on the petition once they born but not before. The purpose is, like everyone here, to accelerate the process of this 130 who take wayyyyyyyyyyyy too long.

Hello,

first , congratulations for the baby coming!🎉

ok , for the I-129 F I don’t know if you have to mention your pregnancy . I don’t want to give you a wrong answer .

but , as you mention you would like to be in US before  your due date . It’s seems ( to me ) to be a very short delay .

i mean , even if you fill the I-129 F the time to receive an answer ( usually a denial and from that the approval of your I-130 petition) can be 1 or 2 month right now from I-129F NOA1
then the I-130 have to be sent to NVC , then there is all the NVC stage who is taking 3/4 months if everything is going smoothly.
then you have to wait for your interview .
(I am right now waiting for a case number since 23 days .)

it’s about 2 months from USCIS I-130 approval to NVC Case number .
I understand at 💯 that being separate from your husband is hard especially being pregnant . But honestly December seems to be complicate .

then once you are at NVC you can still try to ask for an expedite

this process is very (too) long and we all want to find a way to go faster .
i wish you the best !

Hi!

First thank you for your answer, I really appreciated it!

I didn't make myself clear. Let me explain, I do planned on giving birth in France i have health care and i feel more confortable here anyway.

I planned on filling for the 129f on November and if I understand right, it take at least 1 or 2 months to get denied. By that time my baby will be born and I don't know if during the process of them looking at my 129 if its a problem that I didn't mention anywhere that I was expecting.

Of course the purpose of doing it is for them to denied the 129 and validate the 130 but I will be happy if they even accept the 129 at this point.

Hi !
i am from France too ( Corsica )

oh ok ! I didn’t understood that in your previous post . You are right , do it here as we have social security/ mutual . It’s better  especially if you feel more comfortable .

i don’t Think you have to advise them of your pregnancy for the I-129F but as is said I am not sure . I think it’s gonna be more after your I-130 is approved during NVC process where you have to declare the birth of your child  how many people are in the household ( for the AOS) and you will probably have to provide a birth certificate .

you will have maybe to wait for your baby to have his/her own passport before moving .

I found some links for you with some interesting informations 🙂

sorry i am not very helpful . I hope those links will help you
