From case sent, since people’s cases get sent off later after approval than others. Our case got sent after only 8 days but some I’ve seen it take a month or so for it to get sent

USCIS Stage:

  • Feb 14 2019: NOA1 (NSC)
  • July 31 2019: I129f NOA1
  • Sep 19 2019: I129f NOA2 (Denied - 50 days from NOA1)
  • Sep 19 2019: I130 NOA2 (Approved - 217 days from NOA1)

 

NVC Stage:

  • Sep 27 2019: Sent to Department of State
  • Oct 31 2019: Case number received (34 days since sent)
  • Nov 1 2019: IV & AOS fees received & paid
  • Nov 14 2019: IV & AOS submitted
  • Dec 18 2019: All docs accepted, but one additional doc requested (5 weeks from submission)
  • Dec 18 2019: Requested doc submitted
  • Feb 19 2020: Documentarily Qualified (9 weeks from 2nd submission, 14 weeks from first submission)

 

Interview Stage:

  • Mar 11 2020: Interview letter received
  • Apr 1 2020: Interview date
  • Mar 17 2020: Interview cancelled due to COVID-19
  • August 3 2020: Rescheduled letter received, new appointment August 25 2020
  • August 25 2020: Visa approved at interview! (558 days from NOA1)
  • September 10 2020: Embassy received passport in mail
  • September 15 2020: Passport with visa in hand

 

October 11 2020: Arrived in US!

Everything will be uploaded on CEAC, no more mailing in forms

Still no case number ..

and when we call NVC it’s like USCIS they give us what we can read on our screen .

you are on hold for 1hour or more and then. They just pick the phone and are already ready the hang up lol 

but obviously it’s like the loto uscis . ( just to explain ) One day they process the 2nd , an other day the 11th  etc .. 

Grrr... 😤

thought will change after NSC but for now it’s still the same C*** for me ..

sorry VJ family just need to vent today

Same here. We actually got approved for a conditional expedite but still haven’t gotten a case number. Guess we have to wait, hope we get our case number by the second week of Oct!

It’s so frustrating ...Even if NVC is supposed to be relatively fast , after such a long wait at NSC it’s like we run out of patience .

i hope you will receive your case number soon and me too 🙂🤞

How do you find out when NVC receives your case (but no case number yet)? Do they send you an email telling you they got it?

You have to call them to know if they received your case . They don’t send mail to advise you .

when did USCIS sent your case to them ?

Well that sucks! Guess I'll call in a week or two, my case only just got sent on Friday (Sept 27th) so I'm sure they don't have it yet probably
