I really wanted to ask you guys if anyone had a successful outcome with the I-129F shortcut without having to send in new passport photos. Have you guys seen anything like this before?

@JMPM do you remember anyone specifically?

Thank you.

I did not send passport photos with my I-129, and my i-130 was approved.

This makes me happy! Your dates are just a few weeks ahead of ours for both forms so I’m praying we will be getting good news soon too!

Oh my gosh! We've been approved! Only 90 days after NOA1, we received yesterday's I-130 approval.  I would like to thank the JMPM who gave me the tip to send the I-129F. I confess that I am shocked. I didn't expect it so soon.  It's 7 months away from my husband and I know how much it hurts. Unlike most, first I received the approval of the I-130 and after a few hours I received the denial of the I-129F. Stay firm and have faith!!! Good luck to all

Yes, this is correct. No filing fee if you’re filing the I-129F for K3. This means an I-130, for which the fee had been paid, is pending.

Anyway, I'm thinking of sending the same personal photographs we sent the first time we filed the I-130. I have a couple. Any thoughts?

If you want, do it. But I honestly do not think they care.

OK.. Thanks for the response but please I have another question... My husband didn't submit any document with the i-130, now is it wise we submit some documents with the i-129f or just send it then wait for RFE?

I’m not so sure about this one, but if i were in your shoes, I’d probably send then wait for the RFE. I mean, since the documents should’ve been sent together with the I-130 in accordance with USCIS guidelines, you might still get an RFE even if you send the docs with the I-129F.

It won't work to send with I-129. If you're already sure you'll have to send more documents, I-129F can only speed up this process. It's a good ideia!
