oh, they don't want certified copies? Cause we sent them certified for the I-130 and that was a bunch of money to get them certified. But that would be awesome. And thanks for the passport photo tip!

Where did you read or who told you that you needed certified copies? I am pretty sure it is not required, the only requirement is to translate documents that are not in english. Then you have to bring all the original documents for the interview at the embassy. That's when they check that the copies you submitted to USCIS and NVC are genuine.

For our story, look at my profile.

Congratulations! How did you find out? Did you need to call? Thanks

Thank you !!!!😊

We  called  NVC today ( you have to try many times because they hang up before selecting the service because they are busy and then wait about 1h to reach someone) and a very nice lady gave us the information right away !

So happy !!

Does anyone have Idea why there is two different i-130 receive date on two different USCIS website.

when i check on this it shows receive date Sep 22,2018

https://my.uscis.gov/account/applicant

when I check on 2nd website it shows Sep 19, 2018

https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

🤔🤔

It was the same for me .

what matters is the PD you have on the paper your received with your NOA1.

My PD was august 29 2018

on USCIS .gov my Pd  was 08/29/2018

on MY USCIS was 08/31/2018

Do people really wait for over a year for any updates on I-130 in Nebraska? Was really hoping the 12-15 months processing time on their website was not true... We filed in January 2019 and haven’t received any news and no RFEs, which worries me.

There is nothing to be worried about, most people wait about a year, but there are plenty that wait more than that. Mine was 369 days for approval from Nebraska.
