Yes we’ve got IOE for our I-130 and then LIN for our I-129f, only the spouse visas have moved over to the electronic system so far which is why they’re different

I just wish to complete everything as soon we get . But our lawyer is slow

Also how about ds 260 . Another wait?

I don't have a lawyer. I am doing everything by myself and help of wonderful VJ community. I cannot start the DS-260 as the fees are still being processed.

But she don't respond us.. what to do. I wonder if I can just skip her.  Would I also get a case number.

At NVC you assign an agent, assign yourself (not lawyer) and do it if that’s what you’d prefer to do.. but you might want to check your contract with lawyer first or might have to pay lawyer more fees

Oh ok.. I would prefer to do it.

 

I send her an email.  She said she was getting together my joint sponsor.  But don't reply often.

 

I believe it will be more fees.. oh boy.

I don't know how to tell her I would prefer to do this part myself.

 

Because just like the others on VJ, as soon as they get a case number, they pay the fees first I seem to notice.  I want to do the same.  But lawyer may not do it asap 😒
