Fingers crossed you hear from them soon!!!

My husband woke me up at 7:30ish am German time saying he has gotten a text from them - turns out I’d also gotten an email from them 7 hours before that. Old USCIS page updated, new page still hasn’t although it’s the one the email said to log into to check the action taken.

We just FaceTimed, and he already received the paper NOA2 today - listing an approval date of September 4th, while online and text/email said September 5th.

So it should definitely be worth checking “all” resources when checking your status. Really hoping you hear from them soon!

@everyone recently approved, whose case has been sent to NVC already: did you get a separate (online, at least) status update once Nebraska had mailed out your case? Or does that actually happen at the “same” time as the approval?

The paper NOA2 received in the mail today actually say USCIS “sent” - as in, past tense - our case to NVC, and to give it (at least) 30 days before inquiring, which makes it sound like that has already happened? For some reason I’d thought it’d be on their desk for a while yet before getting another update à la “sent to […]”?

For NVC even if the NOA2 you received said “sent” it’s not the case unfortunately..

i think it’s supposed to but sent right away but it’s NSC..

In reality they take few weeks to do it . Those last months, about a month .

We’ve been approved on 08/08/2019but our case was sent to NVC on the 09/03/2019.

when your case is gonna be sent to NVC they will update online “case was sent to the department of state “ . For me they just updated the old USCIS website and send a email to my husband . Visa tracker was updated too

How long did you wait from NOA2 to case number ?

NOA2 on July 10.

Case was sent to NVC on August 8

Case received August 13

Case number assigned September 9

I don't know why NSC didn't sent it for almost a month after approval.

We do have an update!

Our case number was assigned 09/09/19

The joy we feel right now is indescribable!!!!!!!!!!!

It took 27 days for us to get a number after our case was received at the NVC.

To anyone that's still waiting, the wait won't certainly be long.

Hold on, be strong people! 💪

I was about to ask you if you have received the case number as we have exactly same timeline. I am also really happy and getting excited as we are inching closer with every passing day to be united with our loved ones.

Hope you all get the good news soon.

It's Nebraska. Their motto is "if it can be done it will be done in twice the time"

Yeah, pretty much. I imagine that they have meeting every morning and everyone must be like how can I do my work as inefficiently and as slow as possible. Person A gets best employee of the month award as he/she only processed 1/2 Petition for the entire month...🙄

Do they really take application and make decision in order they receive? Or its big lie from US Government. I am now almost 1 year waiting from Nebreska USCIS and no decision yet. Some of folks who applied in same service center and after my date got already approved. I am so helpless and disappointment..

i almost check my status 50 times a day.. i feel now i am loosing my patience..

Yea our timelines are pretty much identical and have the same movement pattern.

Let's hope everything goes smooth from now on and in less time.

We also paid both fees immediately we received the number.

Waiting for confirmation now.

They say it takes 2 to 3 business days

its sad to say but it’s NSC .. it’s another world there with other rules obviously .

they sent mine almost a most after approval too .. such a waste of time after already about a year just to receive the NOA2.
