After coming back from the Philippines yesterday I finally read the NOA2 mail and I got the NVC email last night.

NOA-1 1/29/2019
NOA-2 7/31/2019
NVC SENT - 9/4/2019

USCIS old site updated finally from Case Recieved to Sent to NVC

USCIS new site still hasn't updated.

Going to give it like 3 weeks before I start to call NVC for the case number.

Hopefully the PH Embassy isn't delayed much, would be nice to have her here before December. She's excited to start to work and hopefully she gets a job during the hiring spree my job has during Nov/Dec. Going to have her start to apply once we know our interview date. They can do skype interviews, and hopefully she can work shortly after arriving.

excellent news. 6 months between NOA1 and NOA2 through Nebraska, is pretty quick indeed! Did you perhaps file a 129F?

No I was an annoying son of b**ch constantly emailing USCIS employees from the emails I could find, tagging USCIS employees that would comment on their USCIS posts, they probably tossed my file up to oil that squeeky wheel. Who knows.  Nebraska is still full of it. They need to have all the management team there fired.  They are even last of the service centers to send cases to NVC seems like texas/potomac takes like 2 weeks while nebraska is double the time. It's like their motto is "If it can be done, we will do it in twice the time'

ha! good work!---- :)

I’m not sure if they tell you when they received it but they do email you a case number, it can take up to 6-8 weeks but some people start to call after 3-4 weeks to try to get their case number sooner than email

Our CR1 Journey:

USCIS Stage:

  • Feb 14 2019: NOA1 (NSC)
  • July 31 2019: I129f NOA1
  • Sep 19 2019: I129f NOA2 (Denied - 50 days from NOA1)
  • Sep 19 2019: I130 NOA2 (Approved - 217 days from NOA1)

NVC Stage:

  • Sep 27 2019: Sent to Department of State
  • Oct 31 2019: Case number received (34 days since sent)
  • Nov 1 2019: IV & AOS fees received & paid
  • Nov 14 2019: IV & AOS submitted
  • Dec 18 2019: All docs accepted, but one additional doc requested (5 weeks from submission)
  • Dec 18 2019: Requested doc submitted
  • Feb 19 2020: Documentarily Qualified (9 weeks from 2nd submission, 14 weeks from first submission)

Interview Stage:

  • Mar 11 2020: Interview letter received
  • Apr 1 2020: Interview date
  • Mar 17 2020: Interview cancelled due to COVID-19
  • August 3 2020: Rescheduled letter received, new appointment August 25 2020
  • August 25 2020: Visa approved at interview! (558 days from NOA1)
  • September 10 2020: Embassy received passport in mail
  • September 15 2020: Passport with visa in hand

October 11 2020: Arrived in US!

Enjoy the time together! Is someone checking his mail for him while he is away? My online status still not updated from 8/19, but I saw the paper approval that came in the mail. Yours might already be approved and not updated online.

yeah, and he has an app that sends him a picture of what is going into his email, I forgot the name tho, if USCIS sends a letter, he has a person who can pick the mail up for him
