I am going through the same process and it has been almost 11 months and we have not received NOA2, I think they should speed up the processes and give priorities because a couple should not be separated for long this is very bad for the relationship.  I know of many other different processes that take 2 to 6 months to complete.  It's impossible to understand !!

hehe you're not alone. It is quite hard. So much is lost over text and phone/video. Hang in there.

[edit] we also quarrel over the stupidest things....

Hang in there folks.  It'll happen, have faith.

I'm slowly going.  🙏🏼🤞🏼☘️🌷🌻 Each of you will also be moving forward.  The hard part is the i130 nebraska service center.  They never do what they should be doing.. 🤬

Nvc actually gives you a time frame and they try to stick with it.. I hope 🤞🏼

I hope they also don't have us in limbo. But I have faith in NVC. ☘️🤞🏼🙏🏼. Their website is detailed and I like their way.  If you send them an email.. it'll take long to reply... But they show online what dates they are working on to reply for emails.

Hang on.  You'll pass Nebraska

I don't have arguments with my wife because of the immigration process we have disagreements but we work them out.(we can't argue about what we can't control)

Communication that is honest is key but if you're constantly talking about the immigration process there will be other details that will be lost.

The process sucks but there's so much more to talk about.

Most of my immigration talks with my wife have been hey it's going to take this long. She accepts it. But we talk about differences in living here. What are the expectations she's thinks is going to happen. What the processes of American living is from everything from transportation, working, taxes, politics etc. Dealing with local govt. Even things like traffic tickets or a car accident. The differences in how things are handled there isn't the same here and I think that helps defuse any arguments because most things that are argued is based on fear of the unknown or lack of communication.

Some expectations are exaggerated and some underestimated. It's good to talk about things ahead of time so there's no surprises.

I keep communication with my wife and her family because without them being happy and welcoming for the change that is about to happen will create tension that will break into arguments. So far the family is cheerful of the news but still they are sad that they will see less of my wife but they know how I like to communicate and get involved when I'm afar so that's not going to change.

So don't fight with yourselves because of USCIS it's not worth it. There will be plenty of differences to work through but USCIS shouldn't be one of them.

We got our NVC # email today and also a email from my congressman saying he "officially" requested an expedite for us today as well. Also said our paperwork was sent to U.S. Embassy in Singapore in the same email. That part I don't understand...haha

What letter head did you use to format your email to your congressmen.

where can I find the E-mail for my congressman for Texas.

It has been 5 1/2 months since I have submitted IR-1 (i-130) for my spouse

I’m sitting at the airport to go back to Cambodia after 10 days with my son and 10 days working on this side and talking to my job attempting to convince them to hang on a bit longer for me!!

I just received an email from our attorney - our petition was approved on 8/19/19! They received the hard copy today.

Online on both new and old websites was not updated - still not updated!

Original priority date 8/15/18

Now the NVC process begins!

Congrats! I know this has been hard on your family for what you say here, it must have been a great feeling traveling like this hahahah! Everything will be easier now
