Wonder why are January ones getting ignored...

UPDATE:

Hey guys, 1000+ cases from April have been either approved or transferred, or just processed.

Jan and beginning of Feb were almost completely ignored yesterday.

March is still on the rise.

Alright guys... These past few days, I‘ve seen quite a few posts on Facebook and VJ of people with the I-130 processed at the Nebraska Service Center, but their I-129F being sent to Potomac or Vermont.

I‘ve noticed on the USCIS processing website, that the processing time for the I-129F in Potomac and Vermont is 15.5-20 months.

I can‘t help but wonder if the split of these two forms (location-wise) is now done on purpose in order for people to not be eligible for a I-129F case inquirie after 9.5 months in Nebraska. That way, people could be kept from submitting the I-129F K3 since it wouldn‘t speed up anything anymore and they could let the process die...

What are y‘alls thoughts on that? 🤔

Well we have a lot of proof that if you're electronically filing or have an IOE number, that filing for an I-129F is useless so it wouldn't make sense. It's probably just because they want to lessen the load on Nebraska

We didn’t use an attorney so I can’t comment on that. But from what I heard they are pretty useless.

did you do the “your case is outside of normal processing times” inquiry? It doesn’t let me do it because technically we are still under normal processing time of 12.5-16 months. Though there’s nothing normal about it.

I still think it's past your PD date so it's a concern.

Try to talk to a tier 2 agent, they will sort it out for you.

I keep getting notifications on my case tracker app...maybe 20 yesterday and 1 this morning, but nothing has changed.  It keeps saying "your case has been received..." Weird 🤔

I am still getting notifications too. One minute it says error case cannot be updated and then case recieved. Got this about 20 times for the last three days. Very aggravating.

Sounds valid to me. That’s the exact reason I filed the K3, because it had a shorter window that I could call in on.

Good morning! Our I-130 application was just approved today.

PD: 1/31/2019
CA: 2/27/2020

I noticed that our I-129F that we sent in early October still shows as case received. Maybe it will take some time for that status to change.

Using the case tracker app, I was following case numbers within a range of about 2000 cases to ours. The info that @AMS13 has been posting looks accurate, thank you for that sir. In the past few weeks I saw cases being approved, albeit slowly. So I knew it would be a matter of time that our January case would get approved. Good luck to those still waiting, your results will come soon.

I always try to be as accurate as possible as not give false hopes. I also think your I-130 case is the one ending in 16, right? :).

Congratulations! :jest:
