Honestly, my dream is only to be with my husband, I have the right to european citizenship, he tried living in brazil, but he didn't adapt, I only want to be with him (he is the american), being in the U.S is secondary, it always has been, but he needs to finish his college, so it has to be there. And I have never seen a case be approved during the weekend, so... But you are right, soon this will all be in the past, it is still an absurd we have to wait this long and be apart for so long

Have you ever called on a Saturday? Just wondering how that works out with being on hold. I will try to call this week.

We just got approved!

So far no paper or email notice, but I check the "new" and "old" sites daily (obsessive, I suppose?) and discovered on the new site we were approved on 8/14/2019. NOA1 was 8/22/2018 [...]

Congrats!!!

The thing with the operating hours posted on the page before is that anyone - literally, anyone - can edit opening hours on google. We’ve had plenty of people show up to my mom’s store at hours she has NEVER been open, just cause someone had edited google’s business hours for her shop lol

There is an actual USCIS page stating they’ve extended contact service hours to Saturdays, too, (no Sundays), but that may also be old info and have been changed back since then...

I think your mom can take control of the listing especially on sensitive information. Plus doesn't hurt to post a photo of the hours too. Sometimes people can be jerks. (I know not immigration related)

Just thought I’d point it out for those who don’t know that the business info shown by google isn’t always correct 🙂

Thank you for the input/advise! We’ve actually requested their authentication paperwork stuffs :)

Thank you! ❤️🌷☘️

I believe I found one sweet elderly lady, and her husband. Keeping my fingers crossed 🤞🏼

I begged so many people.. sometimes the ones you never thought would help actually helps.. and the ones you thought would help, would not help.  It's opposite. This joint sponsor thing was difficult, but I came across this lady.  She is really sweet..

Process is aggravating, but keep in there. It will all happen.  I pray for you 🙏🏼

Yay! 🐈🐈☘️ One step closer. Finally left the hellbraska.

You're also finished with NSC! Yay.. finally ☘️

Have you called them recently? I haven't called one time yet, but now I am past 11 months I think I will try calling.  Saturday is my one year wedding anniversary, and I'm saddened by the fact that I have only spent 2 weeks in March with my husband since my visit/marriage last year  in August. I really don't have the patience to be told some scripted response :( I head back in October and just pray that we have positive news by then.

Ya it seems like it's taking a month just to have it mailed to NVC, 2 months to get a case number and then who knows how long case complete will take. Depending on your home country, I've seen some people waiting 4+months just for the interview.

I think when it's all said and done, anyone at Nebraska is going to be waiting just UNDER 2 years for the process to be completed. This whole thing used to take about 12-14 months just last year. They've managed to tack on an extra 8 months or more it seems. And that's if everything goes smoothly.

Yeah really I am almost in tears to see Potomac people getting approved in 4 months. This is so completely unfair and screwed up with USCIS!!  One just posted for India in 4 months and I can't even express how angry and upset I feel right now. I have been traveling back/forth for over 4 years! It's bleeding my savings dry just to be with someone I love. :(

I-130 filers from India?

Pls help me out.

I submitted the petition with my church marriage certificate. Did anyone here get rejected for not having civil but church only? I was told that church marriage is considered legal in India.

I would like to know if any of you had similar experience..

Any input is appreciated.

Thank you 🙏

NOA1 was 8/22/2018 and for those who are keeping track of such things, we did not submit I-129F. The old site as well as the case tracker app still have no updates.

Thanks for keeping us company during this process! We've all of y'all in our thoughts daily, hoping for speedy approvals!

Congratulations! BTW, i keep seeing this old vs. new site thing? Can someone explain which is which?

You need civil marriage for US citizen and Indian National as per Special Marriage Act.
