Just searched -605000 to -609000.

Saw 4 RFEs being sent for August 30th cases, dated yesterday.

(as well as 1 RFE for a 08/31 case, dated the 7th, and two 08/17 approvals dated the 14th)

Mine are in the 590000 and yet I got nothing...T_T

My PD is the 29th of August. ugh.

Called NVC today and figured out that they received my case on Aug 13th, exactly one month after NOA2.

NVC received ours on Aug 12th which is 1 month after USCIS approval. Very similar to your time-frame. We will see how log it will take NVC to send WL to us.

Guys, am I the only one who doesn't enjoy weekends anymore? Not that I hate them, I still enjoy resting, but I don't enjoy it as much anymore, I just keep thinking: well, USCIS is not working today, nothing is gonna happen to my case. Am I going crazy? 🤣

Well, according to google, Nebraska service center operates 7 days a week from 8 to 5. However don't get crazy too much with this immigration thing. Soon all these hardships will become the past and you are going to realize you should not have wasted your energy. We must be all happy that somehow we managed to immigrate to the US and are being able to bring someone else here. For this, waiting a few years totally worth it. There are millions, if not billions, of other people around the world who only dream about being able to be even in the waiting list just to immigrate/visit the USA.

Honestly, my dream is only to be with my husband, I have the right to european citizenship, he tried living in brazil, but he didn't adapt, I only want to be with him (he is the american), being in the U.S is secondary, it always has been, but he needs to finish his college, so it has to be there. And I have never seen a case be approved during the weekend, so... But you are right, soon this will all be in the past, it is still an absurd we have to wait this long and be apart for so long

I said goodbye to my 14 yr old son today after a 10 day visit. It had been 6 months since he moved back to the US.  It is killing me to leave him in the US and go back to Cambodia with my husband and my job while we wait this out. I can’t help but feel like I’m failing in all areas. I can’t be there to be his mom, if I am, then I can’t be there to be a wife. Lord grant me the serenity....

the wait will be over soon, your petition has reached a year, it will be any day now, will you go back to US to establish residence or will you just go when everything is sorted out?

I sure hope you’re right! I know many people feel relief when they get their NOA2, but there are also many people going through difficulties trying to go through the entire immigration process including the interview and admin processing, my worries will stop when we get his passport stamp in LAX.

I work for a non-profit mission organization, so it grants me the ability to not be required to go first and establish residence before my husband is approved. I actually just found out about this ability. I’m so thankful for this because I would hate to waste all of the money to move there and set everything up if they deny him and we have to figure out another choice. Just in case, I have a rental house lined up and letters from my employer that my job is transferring me to the US. We will sign the lease when it’s closer to the interview date.

Just like you, the US was never our first plan. It became our plan because my job and now my son. The truth is, my husband isn’t that excited to move, he just wants all 3 of us together and he’ll go anywhere that makes that happen.

I understand, the NOA2 will bring me joy, but not peace. Btw, it is so nice that your jobs gives you that benefit, good you found out before it was too late, after the NOA2 things do seem to move faster tho, soon you will be all reunited

I understand many of these feelings. I think that for those of us who are abroad with our spouses, there’s a lot of chaos and uncertainty that each stage brings. Once we get NOA 2, I’ll have to move back with our son (he’s 6), get a job, find a place to live, etc. as a single parent. We’re dreading the time apart, since we’ve been married for just about 8 years and always been together. I think if we didn’t have a child, I’d be a lot less worried, but it’s hard knowing that he will be upset not to have his father for however long. Plus the added stress of childcare while I’m starting a new job and doing everything on my own.

We are returning to the US for economic, education, and health reasons, but we are also sad to leave Turkey.
