For those of us who have filed the I-129f I've been thinking about if it really even exists because I've yet to hear of anyone getting the K-3 visa.

So, I looked online at the USCIS statistics and found the following information (see attachment)

In 2018, 6 K-3 visas were issued

In 2019, 5 K-3 visas were issued

I think this means that it's basically non-existant.

I know that the K-3 visa was created during a specific time when USCIS was backlogged and now it doesn't really exist... But let's hope and pray that they'll reenable the K-3 visa for us in Nebraska waiting.

Hang in there everyone.

This is not why people are filing the 129f.  For a while there it seemed that 129fs were getting looked at much faster than 130s and then the officer looking at it would deny the 129f and approve the 130 thereafter.  Doesn't seem to be working now as much as it did with "LIN" receipts, but at a minimum the official processing times for 129fs are shorter than 130s so you could technically bug USCIS earlier for a response to your 129f.  Haven't really seen any stories of anyone doing this yet though.

Not from July 2019, everyone was getting IOE from very late June onwards

I see. I cannot give you any updates on IOE cases whatsoever.
My records show only 1 July case in LIN number, which is why I asked.

I guess it’s harder for IOE receipts as you can’t distinguish between which Center it’s been sent to. Strange there was 1 with a LIN number though 🤔

Why would you want a K-3?  It would require the foreign spouse to file for Adjustment of Status.........not fun, from what I have read.
