Hey all! I have a question: how does NVC reach out to the beneficiary regarding the packages to send? Email or mail? I ask because I just moved apartments and I don't know if I'm supposed to let them know. My husband (the USC/petitioner) still lives in the same place. I know we're supposed to let USCIS know if the petitioner moves but I don't know if it applies to the beneficiary too.

This is about the same as my I-130 app. I got a text message a few days after the case tracker showed received. Then a few days later I got the NOA1. I'm just hoping by Christmas (9 months from filing) the I-130 will be approved.

Called NVC today and figured out that they received my case on Aug 13th, exactly one month after NOA2.

How annoying was it to call and ask?

Our case was sent one day after yours, so I might just wait another few weeks for the welcome letter.

Just searched -605000 to -609000.

Saw 4 RFEs being sent for August 30th cases, dated yesterday.

(as well as 1 RFE for a 08/31 case, dated the 7th, and two 08/17 approvals dated the 14th)

"One day, the plane ticket will be one way."

When I was trying to call, it was going straight to automatic answer and was telling me to call back later. I kept trying and after 5 times, it worked. I was hold for 45+ minutes. The rep told me that they received the case on 13th and it can take upto 8 weeks for case number.

I would call just to make sure that they have received your case. Even though it might not sound like big deal, me and my wife both felt that at least we are slowly moving along this journey and getting closer by each passing day.

I will probably call them just to make sure they have it. At least that way you know when to call them back about case number. I will probably call them first week of September or based on what they say on their website.
