Not true for Nebraska.. Nebraska is still processing around Jan 2019

I actually heard similar timeline from a contact in our congress office, but indeed that seems strange as we do not see any approvals here for March or April yet.

Exactly. This is almost very accurate and close enough to the truth. I've posted previously that the actual processing times at this point is as follows:

1~5% May-December 2018.

80~95% Jan, Feb, and beginning of March 2019.

These are not mere guesses. These are the facts that you can take for granted.

However, the percentages above represent a rough estimate to convey the picture based on the daily observed processing.

You're welcome :).

No. The percentages are estimates to the amount of cases being handled on a daily basis in those specific months.

Nonetheless, there are still a ALOT of cases left unprocessed in all those months, but they appear to be working on it in a steady pace.

Time will tell.

You have no idea. I've seen cases from 2018 that has been approved only a few days ago, which made their total processing time approx. 19-20 months. Terrible, of course! But, also there's no way to tell what type of I-130 case these are. Some types of I-130s take priority over another.

UPDATE:

December slowed down.

Jan has a steady rate of processing.

Feb stalled a bit in the beginning, but the rest of it was the majority of focus. Approx. 60% of processing today.

March is coming much more into focus, more than Jan.

April also showed some signs of progress.
