Hello,

My PD is 02/15/2019. My cased got transferred in Nebraska from California in Dec 2019. Is there any hope for approval soon or I have to wait more. California Processing time is showing 11-14 months and Nebraska is showing 19-25months. What should I do?

So your case number doesn't start with LIN, is that correct?

Feb 11-15 cases are delayed at Nebraska at this point due to transfers as I understand it.

Be patient they're processing Dec18+Jan19/Feb cases now.

Yes ,

My case number starts with WAC.
Is there any specific reason they transfer cases. And now have to follow the uscis processing time Nebraska?

Thank you for your reply.

Most that are taking that long to get processed are probably because of some sort of issue or extra required background checking I think. Most it seems right now are taking around 12 months, some a little more some a little less, I guess depends on how fast certain officers get through their stack and who gets yours

I am still looking at the same 7 cases, including ours, all received January 15.  All are still "case received."  Not only that but there are different kinds of cases received on January 15, I-131's, I-140's, I-539's all received January 15 and all still case received. The processing time for an I-539 is 5 to 7 months.  Makes me think something is going on with January 15.

Hello Everyone and a Happy New Year!

Been a while since we came back here as we were busy preparing for our big move.

Being a first time flyer, my partner decided to come get me to cushion the stress of traveling.

Long story short, Husband and Wife are finally together in the States!!!!.

All went well and we're looking forward to enjoying each other's company as much as we can every passing day

to make up for the lost time.

We want to use this opportunity to sincerely thank each and every one of you for your support, well wishes and prayers.

We couldn't have made it without you all.

It looked impossible from the start, but here we are talking about the first part of our journey in the past.

Congratulations to those who also made it and our sincere encouragements to those still believing, hoping and wishing.

Thank YOU!!!!!!!!!

It's  really sad that it took you so long to be together but congratulations on finally being together in the states.

It’s the same with mine. January 24th. I’ve checked thousands of January case numbers and a lot of them still say received, so it’s not just the 15th

iPhone case tracker app, it has a search button and you can search for other cases around your receipt number

That explains it. I have an android! Lol! None of the apps I have can I see what is happening. All I see is case recieved! It sucks.

Only the same type of case as well as the PD matter. Looking at other case types is merely useless and incorrect.

And I am not a US Citizen. I am permanent resident.

All I can tell you right now is you're a special case with special circumstances. The processing times for you could just be the same as everyone else, more, and/or less. No one truly knows.

When any case is transferred, they should send a notice indicating the reason why it was transferred. Also, you can call USCIS and ask for the reason, or ask to speak to an officer to learn about the reason.

Let us know what you find out!
