Well, now it's official. They're insane.

Yes indeed

no doubt about that,

maybe vermont said heck with it and take all your cases back and JUST do them to Nebraska,

maybe this time they will listen.

i am just wondering being in 2020 I would think they scan all our papers and just pdf file it within each other. I don’t think they actually send off all the paper work via postal office ( that would be horrible high chances of loosing things )

They read the stated timeline on the website, which is bogus. Ignore this :).

There's a lot more with your PD that have been transferred. Ignore this and relax. Your case will most likely be processed in its regular time frame.

What site are you checking for these transfers? Am just curious!

Fast feeder scanners can scan 50+ pages per minute.

I think when a case is finally assigned an office after a transfer, that's when it's sent via post office for physical storage.

The agent told me on the phone yesterday they are still processing cases from Sept. 2018.

That's the inquiry date, but not necessarily what they are processing right now, since there have been tons of approvals past Sept 2018

NVC Stage:

  • Dec 18 2019: Requested doc submitted

I'm sure that's true. She said every case was processed differently and some take longer so that's probably why it seems like there is no rhyme or reason for how cases are approved.  I just pray that things start speeding up in Nebraska for all of us.

Most that are taking that long to get processed are probably because of some sort of issue or extra required background checking I think. Most it seems right now are taking around 12 months, some a little more some a little less, I guess depends on how fast certain officers get through their stack and who gets yours

Yes I know 🤪 Most of the cases are taking around a year right now but those that are taking way longer, for example Sept 2018 like the online agent said, are for the most part probably ones with issues requiring extra checks and whatnot
