Is Nebraska doing anything at all?  I have never been more disgusted with a government agency.

Most of us at Nebraska are feeling the same way, I assure you. Well, except the ones that got lucky enough to get things done faster with the I-129f, which I still say is unfair now that they have stopped it for the rest of us.

Congratulations 🎈🎊🎉

I have been waiting for a year now at Nebraska and now they just sent it to Vermont. I regret not  submitting I 129k now but I think 🤔 my be a bit too late now to submit it. Maybe I will just wait out the whole process and hopefully with this transfer great news will come sooner then soon.

Oh yes, I often heard when file is transmitted to new service center it gets approved very quickly after!

Thank you and good luck to you!

Hi

thats wonderful that you have heard it often,

what was the average time frame from your pass experiences.

cause when I called the customer service they told me from 13 months to 17 month that’s what it calls from on Vermont. But according to visa journey they are processing may 15th 2019.

i submitted my I 130 on February 11 2019.

Thank you

Not true according to the uscis agent I just got off the phone with. She said Nebraska is truly at 12.5 -16+ months and she said every case is processed differently, with background checks and all. When asked about cases that were transferred, she said it could be because of further background checks, and that there are slower service centers than Nebraska. That one I had to laugh at. Good luck! All very frustrating to find out that it will take 12-16 months just for approval at Nebraska and then who knows how long after that for interview. I asked about the I-129F helping certain people and she said she had no idea how that happened. She said the wait for the I-129f should have been the same for them as it is for everyone else. Sure makes you wonder!

Well you know what USCIS agent says and the truth....

I can't argue you on the point of transfer because I only know 2 cases both transferred from Nebraska to Texas after about 6 months and then approved within 2 months which was up to Texas normal processing time (8 months total).

So if Vermont is even slower then Nebraska, yes maybe the wait will be even longer.

As long as I129f filing is concerned, they are saying for several months now over the phone that this is not speeding cases at all and it is urban legend...well then our case is urban legend as well, but we got approved in nebraska in 85 days thanks to it so...maybe just a coincidence? I don't think so!

Have a great day and best of luck for your journey

The agent told me they were still processing cases from Sept. 2018. She said she was going to look into the cases that were supposedly afjudicated due to filing the I-129 and see if there was anything out of the norm. That's all I know. I am happy for anyone that gets through this process faster, I just want to know how.

UPDATES:

Over 1600x I-130 processing, denials, & approvals in the past 2 days for cases from August 2018 all the way to Jan & Feb 2019.

1x I-129F denial - could have been a K1, but could also have been K3 related.

30+ I-130 cases (mass transfer) of Feb 15 PD - If your case is one of them, call USCIS to find out to which service center and let us know!

Additionally, a rise in denials of I-130s has been noticed.

Hope everyone will get good news very soon!

Ah that explains why i havent been getting as many case updates since thursday. My range is 25jan-4feb. Im glad for the people in this timeframe that USCIS is trying to clear their backlog. Hopefully they will continue to work with the same drive. 1600+ cases in 2-3 days aint bad! ☺️

Oh man if they are still doing some August cases I guess my January case might not get approved any time soon though there are a lot that have been approved already 😓
