If you give me the case number, I'll tell you the receipt date.

I sent you a PN with the number. I don't feel comfortable to share numbers in the forum 🙂

I've also seen a Nebraska I-129F case denied on Jan. 9th... Did you see this one as well?

Hi all,

I-130 approved 01/09, PD was 02/06, no I-129.

I am actually in the US now on a temporary work visa and just sent my I-485 on Monday....Now I have to figure out how they are going to join them because my I-130 is going to go to NVC as we were in France when we filed.

Good luck all.

For our story, look at my profile.

Yes, I saw several cases denied 01/09, but the reason is yet unknown.

I wonder if the one I sent you - which was received Oct. 23 and denied Nov. 18 was for a I-130 with LIN number... If only we'de know all the answers 😂

Yes, it was. I have 2 I-130 cases here that seem to have been approved on the same date. Both cases were filed in Oct and Dec 2018, but were only approved Nov 18/2019. I'm almost certain that one of them is associated with that case denial.

Can I ask what app you guys are checking all this on. I have seen nothing of this kind on any app and I have 5 different case tracker apps on my phone.

Interview??

I was looking at other cases around our receipt number, and one of them says "Interview was Completed and My Case Must be Reviewed"

Your interview for your Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, Receipt Number LINXXXXXXXX, was completed, and your case must be reviewed. We will mail you a notice if we make a decision or take further action. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Do they conduct interviews for I-130 petitions?  Has anyone had to do this?

Sorry mine is actually the 24th I think, that’s what the notice says but the website says 29th

In all cases, cases "around" yours hardly matters. What really matters is the Priority Date! The case numbers are assigned based on how fast the cases arrive into the system, so one can see a PD 01/24 with LINXXXXXXX1 and few thousand cases down, say LINXXXXXX1150, a PD in 01/20. It happens a lot.

Form I-130 is multipurpose, which can be used with other forms/petitions. At least, consider if the applicant is already in the U.S.
