Best of luck to everyone! There is light at the end of the tunnel! Now for the fun of waiting on NVC 🤦🤷

Yea, they have had our petition for 225 days now. Slow process getting there. Did you also file the I-129?

We thought about it, but it wouldn't have really helped by the time I would have been able to get it in.

Until someone steps in and makes Nebraska office accountable for their AWFUL service it definitely will only get worse. Absolutely zero reason the other 3 offices and taking half or less of the time to do the same thing and Nebraska office not be punished. I've honestly had "worse luck" so to speak with the NVC group for the last 6 months. They have been ridiculous and insanely usless and rude when I've spoken to them. So incredibly frustrating!

Sorry to hear that. What is the reason why its taking so long? Waiting for the packages or any other things?

Feb 14 2019: Send I-130(a)
Feb 19 2019: Delivered

Feb 21 2019: Received NOA1 assigned to Nebraska Service Center

Oct 2 2019: Send I-129F

Oct 7th 2019: Delivered

Oct: 11th 2019: Received NOA1

March 30th 2020: I-130 Approved

April 13th 2020: Case received by the NVC

May 1st 2020: NVC Welcome email received

May 1st 2020: Paid Bills, processed on May 5th 2020

May 15th 2020: First initial submission

For NOA1 starts with IOE, does file I129F while I-130 is pending helps to expedite the case?

So far no, at least not in the way it helped before. So far it hasn’t done anything for anyone yet

Hey everyone,

It seems that there has been a few I-129F cases that were recently denied and I'm almost certain they were not K1 related, but rather K3 related. The dates for these cases varied between October and November.

Hope to hear more good news for everyone soon.

Might be true as I don't think NSC processes K1's. I ran a few searches on case tracker and found something strange.

I did find a denied I-129F with date November 18th 2019 with the case number being 500 cases lower than my I-129F dated Nov. 6th! How is this even possible? I thought case numbers get assigned according to cases received?

No, they're not. The pattern is entirely unclear. They pick and choose from a wide range of dates, my guess is to eliminate backlogs only. We shall see soon enough.

True. I guess only time will show ☺️
Although I think the above mentioned was my error. November 18th must be the date of denial - not submission. Wonder if the submission date could somehow be figured out 🤔 A least we know they're processing the forms...

If you give me the case number, I'll tell you the receipt date.
