Latest email from Visajourney for I-130 approval estimate---  "Any day now!"

I-129f has had no effect.

When did you file the 130? How soon after did you file the 129? Our 130 approval estimate still says May 18, 2020.

Maybe it is because of the date of your marriage and not the date of your filing of the 130 petition. That was really fast if they go by the petition date. Congrats, but I just don't understand. There are people that have been waiting a year and still nothing. Just curious!

We were late filing the I-129, mid October.  I-130 January 2019.

So basically it took a year just for approval. Best of luck with the next phase!

The NVC isn't any better to deal with. We were approved with USCIS June 2019 and STILL being screwed over by NVC over 6 months later. I've never been so sick of dealing with anything in my life! I've always been a very proud American (but still realize like ANY country it has it's problems), but I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO disgusted in how screwed this process is. Mostly how usless, rude and sh;!!y they are to you when you call them. Jan 10th will be 18 months into this nonsense and we still aren't even scheduled for medical or interview. ABSOLUTE BS!!!

Wow, that's ridiculous! Sorry for all that. I know everyone is hoping things will pick up now that the holidays are over but I just don't think Nebraska will be any better in 2020.

Until someone steps in and makes Nebraska office accountable for their AWFUL service it definitely will only get worse. Absolutely zero reason the other 3 offices and taking half or less of the time to do the same thing and Nebraska office not be punished. I've honestly had "worse luck" so to speak with the NVC group for the last 6 months. They have been ridiculous and insanely usless and rude when I've spoken to them. So incredibly frustrating!

Wow, that's a bit scary. I am already dreading it and haven't even gotten to that stage yet.  You're right about Nebraska. I emailed my congressman and didn't even get a response from him. The other service centers are much faster and they need to be accountable and give reasons why they are so slow.Earlier on in this process, I noticed that some cases from California SC and Texas Sc, were transferred to Nebraska. That was a question I had. If they knew Nebraska was so slow, why on earth would they transfer even more cases there. Also the fast time some people got with the I-129. They have had my I-129 for 84 days and nothing. My I-130 for 221 days. This whole process is frustrating, plus it puts families under undue stress.  I miss my husband. My health is suffering and so is his. God help us all! Hpe you hear from NVC soon. That seems like an unusually long time to be there.

I filed the I-129f in Oct. They have had it for 84 days now with no denial. I am not sure on the docs needed for NVC. Any info you can give is appreciated.

There are people on my other forum who submitted the I-129F roughly 140 days ago and haven’t heard anything. I’m sure it’ll now at least be 7.5 months as stated on the USCIS Website

Was this just the I-129f alone or accompanied by the I-130?
