Hello. I got a notification from the Case tracker app today that there was an update to my case. But in the app or on the Egov or Myaccount sites it doesn't have any updates at all. Either it was a fluke or maybe something is going to happen? Hopefully it's the latter... Anyone else have had this happen? 😬

Yes, I sent mine off in June, but it was stuck in the stupid Turkish mail system for a month, so I’m still waiting to get my receipt notice.  I don’t want to return to the US too far ahead of my husband being able to join us (me and our son). So everything is on hold for us until the I-130 is approved. We’re going to have to move midway through the school year, I assume, but we’ve always prioritized being together over location 😕

Did you fill in the exact same information from your I-130 including using the same Turkish address?

No we used my in laws address because we had to change our French address after my mom died   and it was not working ..

my I-129 F was denied the 08/08/2019

( NOA1:07/08/2019) and my I-130 approved the same day

So you had different information from your I-130 and it made no difference at all?

I'm also overseas with my spouse and have been considering doing this, but was hesitant since the I-129F seems meant for spouses who are not together.

This week I've gotten about 1000 of those and when I look it says either nothing at all, or no updates for 23 days or whatever it's been. I'm getting close to uninstalling it...

I feel you. Case tracker (a few numbers before work, some after) & forum (*cough* not just before and after work *cough*) - my husband has already (only half joking) asked what I’ll be doing once we’ve been approved, because I’m constantly wanting to check to see USCIS isn’t hibernating on us.

I’m also happy to check numbers around people’s case number when searching :)

hahahahahaha my husband asked me the same thing

It’s only meant to minimize time apart. Since the sponsor has to repatriate to establish domicile, I see it as a way to allow us to go together. If they deny it and approve the I-130, all the better.

saw 3 cases approved today with the same PD as mine, their case numbers are before mine, but that gives me hope, my PD is 08/27, people of September, they're coming for you

Even if they don’t finish all of August first and keep going back and forth, this people of September will let out a deep breath of relief when they finally start on her month 🙃

Realistically speaking, I think it's very likely we start seeing some real movement in sep. cases by the end of next week if nebraska doesn't decide to take a nap

If I don’t get to nap at work, neither do they. 🤣

My hubbs and I have just started a guessing game/betting on approval dates lol.

There’s tons of Aug 27ish cases it feels like, but hoping and assuming September should see some movement next week as well. Finger crossed for everyone waiting 🤞🏻
