We got document qualified notice from NVC this morning!!

Is your spouse from China and did they have to get the police clearance?  mine lived there for a couple years (as did i) so we'll need to get that... heard its a bit of a hassle... Any pointers?

After 361 days (and my occasional griping about it here), we finally got our I-130 approved. A notice came via cell phone, then by the egov website, then by the myaccount website, but all within a few hours of each other. I wish everyone here the best of luck, and less of a wait than we went through!

At least you will no longer have to wait another 361 days to complete the process.

Things go faster from now on.

Congratulations!

Anything less than half that would seem like a success at this point, but I'm hoping things go much faster than that. Thank you for your congrats and encouragement! 😊

Yes, she lives in China.  It was not hard for her to get the police document. I can ask her for some pointers

She said you just need to go to the police office where your ID is registered and ask.

ughhh you know most days im not bothered by this but right now i wish i was in the US permanently preparing for life with my wife

We've all been in that emotional place at one point.

Don't let one bad day get you off your game.

The trick is to never let a bad day make you feel bad about yourself or your life.

The future holds more in store for both of you.

All the best!

I agree, some days it's just hard to wrap your head around all the struggles, the process, and just waiting to start our lives with the ones we love. Anyone not going through this process would find it hard to understand. My husband and I pray every day, and keep the faith that soon it will all be behind us. I wish you the very best of luck!

Going 60 days without i-129f denial ..... :(

61 days so far for us. I think they may have stopped the whole thing because too many people were filing the I-129f.  Our I-130 has been in Nebraska almost 7 months and so far we've heard nothing on either petition except NOA1  letters. Best of luck to all of us waiting.

You're right it would suck, but I have heard some say it could take up to 90 days to deny the I-129f.  All we can do is wait!

Not sure what thread but i read someone with 97 days without i-129 denial. I wonder how many USCIS employees are off over Christmas and New Years, my guess would be quite a few. To be honest I am not expecting anything until our i-130 is estimated to be approved (16-23 jan)
