Hmmm that's interesting... But next time if they ask you like have you ever been denied then I guess you have to say yes??  Keep me updated on yours... I will see if I want to do it.

They shouldn't ask that because you are married and you filed the I-129f after the I-130 not before.

If I’m able to get her here before the interview we should be fine right ?

I would get a new passport with the new name anyways, at least before the next time you take an out of country trip, because when you travel your passport will need to match your legal name

I traveled with both my passports, my old one with my old name, because it has my visa in it and my new one with my new name. Also a copy of my marriage license.  There was no issue.

There was someone that was posting denials of I-129f but haven't seen any recent post.

Hi everyone. I filed I-130 form for my husband in November 12 and I got an email in November 21 regarding my case is accepted and routed to Nebraska. Our receipt number begins with IOE. I read the previous messages here and I got confused. What should I do next? Should I file the I-129F form as well? Or what should I do to
speed up the process? Thank you.

I'm not sure the I-129f is still working but someone posted it doesn't seem to be working with IOE numbers in Nebraska. Doesn't hurt to try though.

Finally signed up here after lurking for few months. Even though I am pretty pessimistic with lack of k3 denials for IOE receipts, I did go ahead and submit the I-129 today. I did wait about 4 months before filing k3 today, don't think it makes sense  to file it right away after NOA1 for I-130 and somehow that fast tracks the application to the top of the pile. Good luck to everyone waiting this out in Nebraska.

i think people need to remember it was initially being submitted by people who had had I130 submitted and pending for well over 6 months (most 12+ mths), when it was identified as possibly speeding the process up.. eg in submitting the k3 application it brought the I130 to there attention and seems it was easier for them to simply approve the I130 given it had already been in line waiting to be looked at for so long..

i think for people considering submitting i129f soon after submitting I130 need to remember it is extremely unlikely that k3 will be approved.. and increasingly more likely that the i129f simply be denied, without approval of I130..

but yes, still submit if you like, more than entitled to do so

Hi everyone,

There hasn't been many updates over the past two weeks, probably over holidays, and I except this to remain as slow until January 2020.

For those who want some statistics:

approx. 140 new I-129F cases received, rejected, and/or expedite request denied between Nov 7 and Dec 3.

Only 11 new I-130 cases received between Nov 7 and Dec 3.

Only the following cases have been updated:

LIN1990554603 - Form I-129F - Received:06/26/2019    Denied:11/25/2019
LIN2090062627 - Form I-129F - Received:10/21/2019    RFE Response Received:11/30/2019
LIN1990598456 - Form I-129F - Received:07/22/2019    Denied:12/3/2019
LIN1990712332 - Form I-129F - Received:09/19/2019    Denied:12/3/2019

As you can see, there's no specific order to processing still.

Hope to see more soon.

I-130 accepted January 3, 2019. Approved December 4, 2019. I am thankful this stage of the immigration process is over and I am praying the next NVC goes faster.

So you were approved about 10 months after you filed the I-130. Did you also file the I-129f?
