Sept 10 2019: Received NOA1 assigned to Nebraska Service Center :crying: IOE reciept
Sept 27, 2019: I-129F Received - LIN receipt

Transferred to Vermont SC in February sometime. - had to contact them because they did not send notice.
NOA2 6/18/20 :joy:

6/18/20: Paid NVC fees

7/17/20: Submitted AOS & DS form to NVC

7/23/20: DQ'd!! :dance:

Now waiting for embassy to open for IL!!

We just got approved!   So far no paper or email notice, but I check the "new" and "old" sites daily (obsessive, I suppose?) and discovered on the new site we were approved on 8/14/2019. NOA

The IOE receipts are part of the new system where the I130 is now scanned and electronically sent to the service center, instead of the I130 being a packet of paper in a stack like they were pre-IOE. So, pre-IOE I130s it possibly could have been just easier for them to just find them and pull them out of the stack when they got the I129f so that they wouldn’t have to deal with it later and so they could deny the I129f asap. But with the IOE being electronic petitions, it’s unsure whether I129f speeds the process for those with IOE instead of LIN receipts. So far we haven’t seen any IOEs sped up with I129f, they’ve all been LIN. But maybe it’s too early, we just have to see 🤷‍♀️ No harm in trying either way IMO

Our CR1 Journey:

 

USCIS Stage:

  • Feb 14 2019: NOA1 (NSC)
  • July 31 2019: I129f NOA1
  • Sep 19 2019: I129f NOA2 (Denied - 50 days from NOA1)
  • Sep 19 2019: I130 NOA2 (Approved - 217 days from NOA1)

 

NVC Stage:

  • Sep 27 2019: Sent to Department of State
  • Oct 31 2019: Case number received (34 days since sent)
  • Nov 1 2019: IV & AOS fees received & paid
  • Nov 14 2019: IV & AOS submitted
  • Dec 18 2019: All docs accepted, but one additional doc requested (5 weeks from submission)
  • Dec 18 2019: Requested doc submitted
  • Feb 19 2020: Documentarily Qualified (9 weeks from 2nd submission, 14 weeks from first submission)

 

Interview Stage:

  • Mar 11 2020: Interview letter received
  • Apr 1 2020: Interview date
  • Mar 17 2020: Interview cancelled due to COVID-19
  • August 3 2020: Rescheduled letter received, new appointment August 25 2020
  • August 25 2020: Visa approved at interview! (558 days from NOA1)
  • September 10 2020: Embassy received passport in mail
  • September 15 2020: Passport with visa in hand

 

October 11 2020: Arrived in US!

Yes it is. I tried to read yesterday what does it mean. Apparently it’s new online numbering that started in June. But I sent papers by regular mail. Will see. I have sent out my 129f yesterday
