https://myaccount.uscis.gov/ for case statuses

Who is using this? My case was updated on https://myaccount.uscis.gov/ but not on https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

I'm not sure which one to believe.

The myaccount one says my I130 was approved. I guess I'll wait for USCIS snail mail.

Confused happy

That’s normal; when my I130 was approved it didn’t even show on either site until case got sent to NVC, and then only egov updated. When my I129f got denied too, only showed on egov and not myuscis. Myuscis is still not updated on either case and we’re expecting case number any day now 😂 So one website not being updated is no worry

Our CR1 Journey:

USCIS Stage:

  • Feb 14 2019: NOA1 (NSC)
  • July 31 2019: I129f NOA1
  • Sep 19 2019: I129f NOA2 (Denied - 50 days from NOA1)
  • Sep 19 2019: I130 NOA2 (Approved - 217 days from NOA1)

NVC Stage:

  • Sep 27 2019: Sent to Department of State
  • Oct 31 2019: Case number received (34 days since sent)
  • Nov 1 2019: IV & AOS fees received & paid
  • Nov 14 2019: IV & AOS submitted
  • Dec 18 2019: All docs accepted, but one additional doc requested (5 weeks from submission)
  • Dec 18 2019: Requested doc submitted
  • Feb 19 2020: Documentarily Qualified (9 weeks from 2nd submission, 14 weeks from first submission)

Interview Stage:

  • Mar 11 2020: Interview letter received
  • Apr 1 2020: Interview date
  • Mar 17 2020: Interview cancelled due to COVID-19
  • August 3 2020: Rescheduled letter received, new appointment August 25 2020
  • August 25 2020: Visa approved at interview! (558 days from NOA1)
  • September 10 2020: Embassy received passport in mail
  • September 15 2020: Passport with visa in hand

October 11 2020: Arrived in US!

Guys, once the NVC accepts your documents does it send them to the respective consultants right away? I can some of the members got their in a few days or a month but then it took 3-4 months for their consulate to receive the documents? Is that delay on the part of NVC or their consulate?
TIA!

How did you know when your case was sent to NVC? That’s a little scary to be awaiting and to check the website and nothing and only to find it’s at NVC. Horrible on USCIS part. Not good for the awaiting families... ugh!!!

The website updated with “case sent to department of state”; I already knew that my case was approved beforehand though because I had already called and was told I was approved and had also gotten a letter in the mail before the case was sent to NVC. My I129f was denied and showed that on egov website so that’s why I called USCIS the next day and found out from the phone rep that the I130 was approved

all the letters say that but they don’t actually send them off the same day that the NOA2 is issued, the correct send date is the one on the website

Hey y'all,

This is my first time posting, but I just got my i-130 approved (recently filed a i-129f) so I would like to share my info so I can add some more data points for you all:

Our CR1 Journey So Far:

USCIS Stage:

  • Feb 25 2019: Sent I-130 package
  • March 11 2019: I130 NOA1 (Nebraska Service Center)
  • Sep 10 2019: Sent I-129f
  • Sep 20 2019: I-129f NOA1
  • Oct 26 2019: I-130 NOA2 (Approved via email - 229 days from NOA1)

Looks like the I-129f still expedites the process. I was expecting the I-129f denial any day now as our turn was coming up based on the info posted by you guys! Thank you all for posting about it, we really needed help as we are stuck abroad and pregnant! :)

Now I need to get organized for the next stage!

Sorry correction: my I-129f NOA1 was Sep 16 (not Sep 20) (& I just got the denial email)
