Dear friends I just check the case processing time and yesterday it’s showing August 2017 now it’s showing October 2017.

Meaning thereby that the USCIS has speed up the process.

Is there some one March or April 2018 who got some response or approval in there pending VAWA cases

You don't need AP to travel within the U.S.! Your State I.D is fine! For me I just show 'em my drivers licence and I'm onboard!😀 ready to fly! Can't remember the last time I carried my passport...it's always my DL

yea, I am just being over nervous 🙄 it takes a while to really understand that I don't have to be so scared anymore after all that I have been through. Working on my driver's license now.

you are such a good influence @Stillwinning!!!😊,  really appreciate you!!

What if you remarry before the 3yrs is over? Will you still be eligible? Been wanting to clarify that...😕

Yes ,even if you remarry before the 3 years you still qualify to apply for Citizenship considering the 3 years period.

Hello I'm new to vj.

I'm male. My wife always threatened to call the immigration cops on me anytime we quarel. She locked d door anytime I come late. And always warn me to never visit my friends. I have been suffering depression since then. I always beg her like a slave anytime we quarel

We have first interview. And broke up few weeks after. She threatened to go back to tell the io that she is nolonger with me and they will report me.. I love her but she left me. Few months we got another interview.  Even tho we separated I still contacted her but she didn't pick up call. She texted with threat of deportation and restraining order.

I hired a lawyer who went with me to interview and ask d io to put the 485 on hold. Luckily she did. Now I'm planning to file vawa.

The problem is that I dont have witnesses. My friends say they can't write about abuse but can write that we live together.

I have done 4 counseling sessions. They diagnosed depression and anxiety.

I have police clearance from my city

Marriage cert

Lease

Xfinity

Car insurance

Dental insurance.

Few pics of us

My ex have all pics of of us in her phone.

Driver license showing same address

My pastor also wrote me a good character with the church letter head.

The only affidavit I have now is from my brother who wrote that she has spoken to my wife b4 marriage affirming the marriage is real

What are my chances. Pls help. I love u all btw

I am not professional. Although I believe if you have good evidence of being abused and proof of a good faith marriage, witnesses are just like icing on the cake.

Yeah. I saw that too. I think they update the processing time on a monthly basis. They must have been catching up.

too early my dear... there were a couple of approvals from 2019 filings but those were exceptions not the norm.  someone here is still waiting since 2017...30 months!

Patience, focus on building your life in the meantime. when did you apply and do you have C9 EAD

they have not got to 2018 un full yet, from what I have noticed

Yes I have c09 but there are important thing recently took place ie the green card and the citizen ship interviews are coming within 2-3 months time before it’s taking 2-3 years there is lot of criticism on USCIS and the house judiciary committee has taken some measure to ensure that the USCIS will speed up the process

Is your I-485 not on hold? If not and you get your interview letter, just give the IO your I360 receipt and they will hold it. You can also write a letter and send it along with the I360 receipt and request to hold the I485.

any concerns about the spouse interfering with stuff?

No I am taking about the speed up process since all the cases are speed up and the I-360 wait time jump all the sudden from August 2017 to October 2019.

so this gave a hope that the cases are speed up
