I have a pending AOS but would be filling Vawa due to psychological and mental abuse. I currently have letter from shelter, medical report, drugs prescription. I have put together a 22 pages of self affidavit and within the coming week,i will be getting affidavit from people who witnessed or heard about the abuse.  Can i submit my documents with these, while i submit my pschological evaluation later as i have not started any session?. Thanks as I await your response. I plan to do this myself. Also my interview will be coming soon,what should i do?  Please help a sister

It is my advise to start your sessions and obtain your psych eval before filing.

But i made them file the new C09 and there were also some mistakes. So the receipt was beginning of May and I received it by now. Did not even expect so fast from the receipt date.

 

The case itself is March 2018. They requested additional evidence. Need additional for good moral character, good intentions for marriage and criminal history from here and home country. They need last 3 years. I've been here for 2 years now.

Hopefully will collect everything and send out. At least I have work authorization finally. That's first huge relief.

But still a lot of fight on the way.

Friends. If i need to submit any further documents after submitting and RFE, can I do that? I included every detail in my personal affidavit but if i want to add more, can i send another affidavit? Just asking

Petitioners are allowed by USCIS to send in any evidence that can help their case anytime during the process before final decision is taken on the application! So yeah you are encouraged to send in as many documents as can be helpful!

It is very explanatory dear..when they send you RFE, they give you a length of time to respond which they expect is enough time and should be adhered to! That's why everyone is encouraged to submit early in order not to exceed the given time! The next paragraph is strictly for those who use a translator..I don't suppose that is the case with you?😊👍

What I'm trying to get across to you is that apart from RFE by USCIS, you can send in anything that will or can help your case...it's entirely up to you..but if you believe your response was strong enough..then you have nothing to worry about! I think you'll be fine dear!👍😊
