@AAh23 same case with me, all was base on cruelty and mental, I submitted medical reports from general Dr, Psychiatrist, Therapist, pictures of emails, texts very self explanatory of the gaslighting, etc... plus all the documents required. Good Luck!

After 27 months from filing I finally got my GC Approval.

Congratulations @FridayGirl@69

You are right my dear aquila! She can send in the i485 alongside the i360..it would benefit her at the moment! @Formykid are you married to a USC? Do send in your petition so you would be able to get the benefits that accompanies it..like EAD, AP et al.

Thank you so much, but my abuser is a LPR for almost 15 years.

Here is my experience so as to uplift those who think they have so much on their shoulder in this VAWA journey.

I had series of RFE but those where minor to me like proof of good character , proof of marriage etc. But what would have broken the camels back was an RFE stating Inadmissibility. This implies I should never have been allowed into the USA in the first place! Picture that folks....now put yourselves in my shoes....have you? You would poo on yourself if u did. I didnt.

I was floored but I wrote USCIS, I composed my best dissertation so far like I was writing my graduate school project. I had no evidence to proof but I was and I am a good and convincing writer. To God be the glory the RFE was approved and my Green Card approved.

So, what if you do not have some evidence? Never give up still, Write, compose, put your feelings into it, put your truths into your words and with God -  you will walk the right path. Let this inspire and motivate all that are still waiting

Well said dear! Very inspirational! I'm touched!👍 I hope this gives everyone here some form of hope! There is nothing God can not do! I have seen USCIS do things out of the norm! People get surprised and try to explain it away...but fail to recognize God at work! I have so much faith..where everyone sees a closed door..I only see an outlet! I'm a very positive person and it works all the time for me..I want to use this medium to encourage everyone here..believe, have faith! Every one here is going to WIN!!! God bless you @bold for this and what you have decided to offer as give back! May this land and everywhere you set foot on favour you!🙏 @aquila you're in my prayers daily much love❤❤💞

VJ family, I have been silent lately owing to a lot of things going on at work etc.

As I mentioned before, I don’t have a lawyer and I filed everything by myself with the help of God, this wonderful forum, and our star attorney @sandranj

So out of curiosity I decided to reach out to my congressman again regarding my i485 since I received just one transfer letter and not 2. Basically I just wanted to know if my file was at the local office.

2 days after reaching out to the congressman he gave me good news that USCIS say that their records indicate that I’m scheduled for an interview on the 26th of September!! And that the interview letter will arrive soon.

No courtesy letter, nothing. Direct from VAWA to transfer notice and then interview.

Now I’m going to rush to get my medicals updated ASAP!

Glad this journey is coming to an end and praying that my interview goes well like it did for others here.

For those waiting, hang on, your time is coming. Patience and prayers work wonders.

Pray for me beautiful people that I get a swift approval.

Local office is Seattle, WA.

Ccongratulations!!! It is settled already!🙏😊 please give us a run down of your timeline again!👍

Oh..that explains why you were advised to wait until your i360 is approved! We can only hope for a speedy process so you can move on with your life! How does someone stay LPR for 15yrs though?😏😕

I am so mad that my attorney didn't file all this forms at once, i could have traveled all this time and have my EAD. And now i am mad that i didn't travel with my AP when had it planned for because she said "no". @Stillwinning!!!😊 pass me some of your positivity and faith... :( all i try it just makes me more and more stressed and depressed. I know God is there for us and sees it all, but all kind of thoughts are crossing my mind and they take over me 😪😪
