Stay positive. We all are here to help each other with all the information we know. No one wants to avoid you 🙂 we all are in a same boat so we all know how it feels in vawa

You're right..someone like me..I answer basically everyone as much as I can and to the best of my knowledge! You can't give what you don't have! Some folks appreciate and acknowledge..others don't but still it's not a deterrent! We push forward! My lawyers filed and filled everything..it's not my jurisdiction at all..Lord knows I do a 24/7 on here..😕😏

For those who filled the vawa forms and submitted themselves without a lawyer . Did y’all fill the whole of part 1 on the form ? What part did y’all leave out ? I don’t need a safe address for USCIS to send correspondence so what part should I fill ?

Like many have said before, my lawyer filled the forms and I had a safe address too so I am not sure enough to help with this.... but I am sure people that have filed by themselves will come through!

To all NYC folks on here that have been VAWA approved: When did you file and when did you get approved? I am trying to understand how USCIS works. I saw someone filed VAWA 2mos before me and got approved 2mos after me and they have their interview scheduled this month (congrats!). Maybe the date of filing the petition has something to do with the order of interviews being scheduled?

I am about filling VAWA 485 concurrent filling

I need to double check with you guys:

The forms I need are I-485 I-360 I-765 I-131 g-325 and I-1145, is this correct?

and I need to label I-765 as c9 catagory, is this correct?

Let me know if I miss anything.

Thanks in advance

USCIS now plans to collect biographical data through Form I-485, not Form G-325A. ... Recently, however, USCIS consolidated the G-325A with the Form I-485 (the Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, which is the main form used to apply for a green card within the United States). Also the e-notification for applications/petitions acceptance (I-1145) is entirely up to you..basically folks just file I-360, I-485, I-765, I-131 😊👍

Absolutely glad and anxious. Just wondering how possible they could reopen I485 if there’s no contact with them

Maybe because they got the I360 pending so they reopen it until you get your I360 Approval, I am not a lawyer but it seems the logical step according to previous post I had read.

There is no order, yours should be coming soon, all files form same date go to different desks so all depends how fast the Officer that got yours works on it.

I have same question because I saw another getting everything done months before mine, at the end all works out. Best! 💫

FridayGirl69 said it best! There is no particular order! I've seen folks too who filed after me..already have their Greencards approved..and folks who filed before me still waiting to get VAWA approval! There's someone who claims to have been approved from Jan 2019...just like that, in no particular order! USCIS is weird! You just can't fathom them..patience is our watch word!

I am sorry to hear that dear ... I can understand the frustration . They all try to help as much as they can

sometimes right along with your post maybe someone else posts too and maybe we have a obvious answer for them and your post gets lost in the thread as we all are answering to him/her only because it was a easy question. Not saying you were less important but maybe your question was something we didn’t know the answer to .

My suggestion- post it again ... send pm to some members , some may have an answer some won’t ... try .

sandra might be busy ... be patient try her again in few ... I would suggest you to hire Sandra ... she is awesome .

try to seek pro bono lawyers ... ask a couple of pro bono lawyers and match their answers against each other .

If the answers match to majority then it may be right.

Don't give up sweetheart... we may overlook but we certainly don’t ignore .

just be persistent and keep trying and post it again and again.

Thanks for confirming that. Because any time I get a mail/email from USCIS my heart skips several beats
