QUESTION, 

 my mailing and physical address has changed now that i am not living with my abusive spouse. So, I put in my current address in the renewal form right? it was the same address on VAWA application. additionally, the "in care of" address would be the lawyer? or can it be my current address?

Everything will go to your attorney. Have you written a notarized letter to Vermont for address change?

I had my interview today with a supervisor. I was asked for my medical, birth certificate and passport plus yes/no questions. We actually ended up talking about stuff not related to immigration. It was pretty easy, not stressful. To God be the glory.

 

I didn't  receive an on the spot decision but I am positive that I am approved. The vibe was good. 

 

I will let you guys know when I receive the card. The site is down/blank so...I wouldn't  know if it's updated yet.

 

Congrats to everyone who got their GC. Friday girl, I was watching your case closely and knew God got you but I understood the frustration and everyone is allowed a little unraveling...

 

To all, be positive, try to keep busy with things that will build your future and find a healthy outlet.

 

I will respond with timeline when card is received.

Vawa EAD around April/May/19 idr sorry...card came then approval notice was way later. This forum help me understand EAD under C31 is automatic VAWA approval.

Idk if lawyer got courtesy letter but AOS interview notice was received 07/30.

 

That's  all I got. No RFEs but I submitted a 12 page affidavit, very detailed. No affidavits from friends etc. I was very thorough and specific.

I had moved out from my ex's when i filed Vawa, so the address on I360 is the one i am at now. I wont need to change it with Vermont then right? only if i move again...yea?

Interesting... I was approved in October 2018 and haven't heard anything at all. But my attorney also didn't change my address correctly for 7 months. When is your interview if you don't mind me asking?

Its not unusual! I got approved March and in June case transferred! Most folks don't even get any notification they just receive their interview letter straight up! It's not a cause for concern if you ask me...some didn't even get courtesy letter as well...It will either update or not...so much is going on with the USCIS site...

Thank you @Stillwinning!!!😊 it's over 14 months since Approval and I am beginning to get worried. I guess I have to be a little more patient.
