Totally agree dear ... police report is very important... I think I chose my wordings wrong ... I should have written in the event where police report is absent then the affidavits from witness is all we can do ...

You're good hun!😊👍 I believe the police report is for physical abuse..and the psychological evaluation for mental/emotional abuse...according to sandra..so whereby you didn't file a police report, affidavits suffice..

Hello again, I am so happy for all of the VAWA approvals. May you reach all of your life goals!!

I know I’m a new applicant but i wanted to know if it’s too soon to contact my local congressman? Lol just wanna get this so bad

application received Jan 2019

fingerprint feb 2019

prima facie march or april 2019

work authorization c9 category approved.

would I be doing too much? When should i get  the congressman involved? Honestly still contemplating traveling with AP (haven’t applied yet) because of all these new laws coming left and right due to upcoming elections. I have too much to lose.

Wait...you filed in January 2019, and you wanna contact congressman? What exactly are you planning on expediting? I'm curious😁😁😁 is it the work permit? C09? Then that would make sense!

You just applied for a Vawa this year. you should wait 12-36 months. right now late 2017's and early 2018s are receiving responses

Hello everybody @sandraj and anyone who could help me. My I360 was approved July 2018. I still haven't gotten the "Your case has been transferred" message. My local office is Dallas. I tried to get an info pass appointment but they told me they couldn't tell me anything and that it is VAWA case. They told me to contact Vermont Service Center. I was wondering how to I address a letter to my Congressman. My case has been going on since 2016, its been over 3 years and it is really wearing me down. I downloaded the forms to fill out, I need someone who has gone through this to give me some pointers 🙏 please.

Its not unusual! I got approved March and in June case transferred! Most folks don't even get any notification they just receive their interview letter straight up! It's not a cause for concern if you ask me...some didn't even get courtesy letter as well...It will either update or not...so much is going on with the USCIS site...

LMAO! You still have some good time to wait! Some folks have clocked 24 months plus! It's not all that easy...you need patience and more!👍 did you apply for C09 EAD? Perhaps that will come...

Hi guys.

I had my interview today with a supervisor. I was asked for my medical, birth certificate and passport plus yes/no questions. We actually ended up talking about stuff not related to immigration. It was pretty easy, not stressful. To God be the glory.

I didn't  receive an on the spot decision but I am positive that I am approved. The vibe was good.

I will let you guys know when I receive the card. The site is down/blank so...I wouldn't  know if it's updated yet.

Congrats to everyone who got their GC. Friday girl, I was watching your case closely and knew God got you but I understood the frustration and everyone is allowed a little unraveling...

To all, be positive, try to keep busy with things that will build your future and find a healthy outlet.

I will respond with timeline when card is received.

Filed AOS 09/16

Vawa 10/17

Vawa EAD around April/May/19 idr sorry...card came then approval notice was way later. This forum help me understand EAD under C31 is automatic VAWA approval.

Idk if lawyer got courtesy letter but AOS interview notice was received 07/30.

That's  all I got. No RFEs but I submitted a 12 page affidavit, very detailed. No affidavits from friends etc. I was very thorough and specific.

Again, blessings to all.

CONGRATS!!! we have very similar timelines but I had a delay in my case. I should hear back soon hopefully.
