What i mean is that it has been 70 days since i got update on my case that the USCIS has revived the RFE and will continue working on my case, is that like a normal time and how long does the usually USCIS takes to decide on your case after they revived your RFE ?Β

When did you file and was your RFE for initial evidence or later? it all depends on how far along your case is. I just replied to my initial RFE and expect to not hear much back for sometime.Β

Hi guys.

Β

I had my interview today with a supervisor. I was asked for my medical, birth certificate and passport plus yes/no questions. We actually ended up talking about stuff not related to immigration. It was pretty easy, not stressful. To God be the glory.

Β

I didn'tΒ  receive an on the spot decision but I am positive that I am approved. The vibe was good.Β

Β

I will let you guys know when I receive the card. The site is down/blank so...I wouldn'tΒ  know if it's updated yet.

Β

Congrats to everyone who got their GC. Friday girl, I was watching your case closely and knew God got you but I understood the frustration and everyone is allowed a little unraveling...

Β

To all, be positive, try to keep busy with things that will build your future and find a healthy outlet.

Β

I will respond with timeline when card is received.

Β

Filed AOS 09/16

Vawa 10/17

Vawa EAD around April/May/19 idr sorry...card came then approval notice was way later. This forum help me understand EAD under C31 is automatic VAWA approval.

Idk if lawyer got courtesy letter but AOS interview notice was received 07/30.

Β

That'sΒ  all I got. No RFEs but I submitted a 12 page affidavit, very detailed. No affidavits from friends etc. I was very thorough and specific.

Β

Again, blessings to all.

when my attorney filed my i360 and AOS together, in i765, he mentioned c31 instead of c09 but after 3 months i received c09 category EAD which expired this March 2019. However, i applied for a renewal on Dec 18 100 days before my ead expiration but my attorney mentioned again c31 instead of c09Β

do you not review everything before they send it out? I ask them to show me everything before they send it out... you gotta check everything! no matter how good your attorney is, its our life at stake!Β

Hello family!Β

Β

I have been a bit MIA due to obligations and looking for work.Β

Β

Firstly, Congratulations to all the approvals!!!Β πŸ₯‚πŸ’ƒπŸŽ‰Β So happy for you all!!

Β

Additionally, Happy to report that I sent over my reply to theΒ  RFE for good faith marriage, they received it on Aug, 15th and I got an update on the system saying " we have received your reply and will start working on your case again".Β

Β

Next thing on the agenda, renewing my C09 work permit. it's valid till march 2020, when should I put in the request to renew? technically its no more than 120 days before but we all know the huge backlog... When is the earliest I can do this and what all do I need to submit?Β

I also want to request my Advance Parole... how does that work?Β

Good to have you back dear!πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘ you can actually apply to renew up to 180 days before expiration! It's allowed now due to the backlog! Go for it..you don't wanna be stuck waiting...πŸ˜•πŸ˜Š

tell them to write detail about the abuse in their affidavits. I do not have police report as well as my wife did not physically assaulted me. or did you get a chance to visit psychiatrist ? get your psychiatric evaluation as well and some medical records which shows your mental evaluation

Thank you!

And you were eventually approved? Did you have any statements from relatives? I went to counseling for depression and anxiety as well. BTW thank for all the information! It really means alot.

Google USCIS EAD renewal..it might bring you to the site..also you're paying your attorney..demand you would like to renew 180days prior to expiration! My attorney didn't know as well..insisting it's 90days..and refused to renew until only 3months before expiration..now I'm still waiting to hear from them..C09 renewal..sent in in Feb! Luckily for me my C31 came through in March! I didn't have any lapse at all!πŸ™πŸ˜Š
