I’ll do that. But, am not expediting. National Benefits Center has been the one handling my EAD renewal but since am filing for vawa Vermont handles that now

on your i-360, select you require work authorization and with your i485 package, include i765 and i131. also i864w on a safe side.

I already have a I-485 filed in July 2017 and a I-130 filed by my USC wife in July 2017. She didn’t withdraw the I-130 when she filed for divorce .

What exactly qualifies as proof? Other then proff of citizenship and marraige? What evidence did the people who were approved submit?

Would be nice if you started by reading previous threads! Whole lotta info! Anyway to qualify for VAWA, you need to prove these things:👇👇👇

.Qualified relationship; that you were married to a U.S. citizen or LPR.

.Good faith marriage; that you married your spouse in good faith and not for immigration benefits.

.Shared residence; that you lived with your spouse in the same residence.

.Good moral character; that you are a person of repute and integrity.

.Proof of abuse; that you were a victim of abuse.

Thank you so much, I will look over other posts as well. What if you did not call the police but have multiple eye witnesses that witnessed the abuse?

Even better ... can those witnesses give you a statement about the abuse ?

be considered as key witness . Their affidavit would mean a lot

You're welcome most folks here were not able to involve the police but still approved. Get notarized affidavits from any witness who's willing to testify. It will go a long way...😊👍

Your own affidavit is very important, explaining about your courtship, how you met, what you did as a couple, holidays and birthdays with family and friends, who proposed and details about the wedding, when the abuse started, what type of abuse you suffered and how the abuse made you feel, when you left, should be in there. Affidavits from witnesses are good. Also @sandranj often said that if you don't have a police report you should get a psychological evaluation and ideally you should be diagnosed with PTSD after talking to the psychologist. Please correct me on the last part though if I am missing something.

No doubt your personal affidavit, a very detailed one at that..is important..but I believe if you do not meet those criterias/requirements I stated earlier 👆to be eligible for VAWA in the first place, you won't be getting anywhere!!! Like I said try and read previous threads to get a feel of things and to get familiar with the whole process!😊👍
