Hi everyone!
hope you all are well. I am looking for an advice, I filed for VAWA in May 2018, I got the receipts and went for biometrics and since then I have no news regarding my case. I didn't even get my work authorization. I am very concerned and in need of at least a work permit, I already had a info pass and called USCIS but with no luck.

is anybody else in the same situation? waiting for so long with no work authorization or other news?

thank you for any response,

What did they say at info pass ?

Its been 15 months ... it’s beyond processing time ... they must have said something at the info pass ..,

how come your lawyer didn’t do anything about it ?

Hey all, I got approved for my Green Card on the 14th of August. I have applied since Novermber 2017.

Had I601 - inadmissible.

I got that approved and got my Green Card too.

Question now is: how do I file for my kids whose names where part of my vawa process and who live abroad?

Proof of extreme cruelty

Description RFE:

A Request For Evidence, is a request issued by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services to petitioners for residency, citizenship, family visas, and employment visas.

Please give accurate info, or best not to answer if you don’t know. Thanks.

What proofs of abuse have you submitted prior to the RFE, if you don't mind me asking? I'm just curious. Your case is unusual.

Edit: I got confused about @Gheorghexxx post and yours. I was meaning to ask her what documents she submitted as proofs. Sorry. I should be paying more attention who is who. lol

I’d like to share some more good news!!!! So today I got a notification that my i360 ead was approved after 2.5 months wait. I truly believe the officer who interviewed me on my marriage based i485 3 days ago made it all happen!!! Glory to God!!!! Hopefully, more angels to help each and everyone of us. 😊

My husband offers a divorce with the signing of papers (documents) without the participation of a judge
The marriage was short, there was no common property, and I am outside the United States. He offers some money and a refund of my clothes if I sign the papers. by email, a divorce lawyer works with this. I do not know if I should agree to this? Or is it better to wait for an official divorce in a family court, I can’t be at this court because I left for my country.

I also filed VAWA  I don’t know if they will consider it
The most important question .... If The most important question .... If he and the lawyers believe that the court and the judge will not award (precisely for divorce )  , why should I be asked to sign papers so that the court does not exist( there was no trial)   ?
