Hi Guys!!!!

I have 2 questions, if someone knows or hear something about it...

1. As far as I can see in this document... that I have found in USCIS website... a petitioner could re marry after I360 approval... for any chance somebody here re marry or know someone who did it?

2. Just found out that we can transfer the I130 priority date to the I360. Does anyone know how to do that?

Thanks!!!!

Hi everyone!

On  August my attorney went with me to my interview based on marriage. My husband didn’t show up and my attorney asked to withdraw my I-485 because I had applied for Vawa and gave to him a letter signed by me asking to withdraw. At the time we didn’t have the receipt  for vawa. The officer asked my attorney to make sure my my letter had a safe address so they could mail the receipt for my withdraw letter. We changed the address in the letter for my attorney’s office and the officer said he won’t take any further action on my case. Now I just received an updated on my i-485  saying that they sent on September 25 a Request for Evidence and I don’t understand what it could be @sandranj

Best wait to find out..then you can intimate us on what it is they seek! Also why did you and your attorney withdraw the petition when you could have asked for it to be held? Sometimes informing the officer you are about to file for i360 is all it takes...others require proof you filed already..depends on the officer...I hope everything goes well for you!👍

I guess they are asking for vawa receipt so that they can put your i485 on hold

The withdraw was my decision. But I think you are right.... I have to wait. Probably they are asking for the vawa receipt

Yes Vawa Self-Petitioner can only Re-marry after VAWA is approve, if it happens before is approve will invalidate Vawa petition and it will be denied .... Also I request my I-130 priority date to be transfer to my I-360, this is very important for spouse of an LPR abuser. Priority date don't really matter or make any difference for USC Spouse they are consider immediate relative no need to request transfer of the priority date.

Thought you already said you filed vawa ma’am ?

Leave that blank. You don not have a USCIS account number .

Thanks for the answer. Yes, I already sent.
I think that I filled in some points incorrectly.
Therefore, I clarify.
I think my idea is not very simple, but for now I continue to do this.

It’s weird because my letter is only asking to withdraw. Nothing else. I already applied for a new I-485

Totally understood! That's why I said to wait..you'll know what it is only when you get it!😊 I also can understand the anxiety..it's gonna be alright dear!
