Yes I believe so. I don't have the form infront of me right now. If you checked off a different box it's probably why it was rejected.

Yes Texas girl is a feb 2018 she got approved 2 months before there is another VJ members who is a March 2018 filer and recently got approved

I think that if it is filled out incorrectly, USCIS will not answer, yes or no, but it’s just disposing of the documents. Am I reasoning right?
I will study the instructions in more detail and apply again.

I filled the first page in the petition, but it turns out it doesn’t seem to be necessary if you do it yourself

Good morning everyone ! 
i got this update on my EAD document .. 

this EAD application was sent incorrectly to Nebraska office by my lawyer May 2019 

i only received the receipt letter and i didn’t get any fingerprints letter ..   

i got my congresswomen involved because i wanted to make expedition she told me that the USCIS told her that the application was transferred to vermont and it will take a while until they receive it and process it !! 
and yesterday i got this notice .. 

what that mean ?? I did not go any fingerprint appointments ! very confused ?? 
does this mean vermont received the application ?? And they are using my old fingerprints they have in file ?? 
or this is just system glitch ????

I think anyone who recently filed the i-485 application before @bmw535i applications were sent back to him could rectify this . They could tell us if they ticked the box for ‘Immediate relative of a U.S. citizen, Form I-130’ OR VAWA self-petitioner, Form I-360. I personally think the officer who received his documents made a mistake and didn’t realize his ex wife was a US born citizen.

I had filled forms incorrectly too for my Marriage based petition then work based forms as well , I had to resend them 4 times , 4 different issues ( all my fault )

but always have a cover letter explaining about the previous incorrect forms , and then I got the approved BEFORE all the rejections came AFTer . The best thing to do is fill them correctly and RESEND them as quickly as possible.

Yes it means your old fingerprints biometrics were used 

your case will be worked on pretty soon now

YES I sent VAWA, FOIA  I did not send.
I asked the Police for the video and am waiting for an answer ... it’s a pity that this cannot be used for ISCIS

 

They can’t use the video or recording for security reasons.

If it’s incorrect they will reject the form.In case of some  clerical errors they might accept the form.

October 24 2017 - Received EAD C09 and Approval Notice.  

January 31 2018 - Sent VAWA i360 and requested VSC to have my pending i485 on hold. 

March 27 2018 - received i360 receipt notice and prima facie letter. 

June 15 2018 - Sent Renewal of EAD C09 to VSC. 

June 25 2018 divorced. 

August 16 2018 Interview  (USCIS Officer placed my i485 on hold and the same day renewal of my EAD C09)  

August 24 2018 Received EAD C09 and Approval Notice. 

September 26 2018- Received second Prima facie.

April 10 2019 - Received 3rd Prima Facie. 

April 15 2019 - Sent Renewal of EAD C09 to VSC. 

July 26 2019 - VAWA Approved.

August 13 2019 - Received EAD C31 and Approval Notice. 

August 28 2019 - Received EAD C09 and Approval Notice.

Yes i do have a police report , restraining order, email from the police officer, i also have pictures of what happaned and plus emails, text messages of the threats from the abuser family and their lawer. I also sent pictures of our house, letters from our friends ,  bank statements together , tax returns, plane tickets of our trips, bills,  and all the documents like passports pictures , marriage certificate, birth certificates from both of us, Driver's license,  etc...

I sent a certificate of conduct and criminal records from NYPD and from my home country.
