I just read now that you asked  the police for some video to be released, is this correct Natalie ? because .USCIS DOES NOT ACCEPT VIDEOS OR RECORDING material, if you are trying to obtain the video forget about it.

Thank you.

YES I sent VAWA, FOIA  I did not send.
I asked the Police for the video and am waiting for an answer ... it’s a pity that this cannot be used for ISCIS

I submitted everything with over 700 pages:

I-360 I-485 I-765 I-131 I-864W G325A I-1145

Spouse is a US citizen birth certificate included as well.

Now they rejected my I-485 I-765 I-131

It does not make any sense

I really do not know why

I think USCIS made an error on your Package if you submitted all Forms together I-360, I-485, I-765, I-131, and your Abuser Birth Certificate is including showing his citizenship it should not be a reason for rejecting your I-485.You need to Resubmitting I-485 package again with a cover letter explaining the error on this rejection notice also include this rejection notice on your package, sent evidence (spouse / abuser Birth certificate) as proof of citizenship, and also explain that Vermont Service Center already received your I-360 form and is now pending and you are waiting for I-360 Receipt.

VJ family, hope you’re doing fine.

I went in for my interview and it was a pretty pleasant experience! Wait time was short too. I got called on 15 mins after arriving.

IO was friendly and cheerful.

We went through my biodata and yes/no question.

He only asked for my medical records and then told me he is approving my case and I’ll receive GC within 4-6 weeks.

Whats odd is that he did not ask for my divorce decree. I went in prepared to only give what asked for.

I also submitted my BC name correction affidavit as well. Basically I had a sheet of paper explaining changes since I first filed the I-485.

He mentioned that low cost health insurance isn’t considered public charge.

plus he did not at all ask about the abuse, bless him!

And I saw a big brown VAWA file on his desk which means they do have access to our files even after adjudication!

I’m yet to receive approval updates. Case status is still the same.

Will update you all as I receive approval updates and GC. Thanks for being part of the journey folks! Praying for each and everyone here.

what a wonderful interview you had... What  a blessing... Prepare your celebration from today.... Congratulations your journey is end.

Congratulations to you, what a brief and pleasant interview celebration mode activated 💃💃💃💃💃. The big envelope with a yellow notice on it, was present and when I saw it I was like wow so they read through it before they interview us! Thank God they wear our shoes for minutes

Btw, regarding Medicals, I took advice of one of our members here who said I should go for those doctors who bill the medical exam as “Annual checkup”. I did my research and found a doctor that charged only $35 co-pay for doing immigration medical exam. That saved me a lot of out of pocket expenses. I also went to him with an updated immunization record.

Hope this information is helpful for other here.
