You have do it again I-693 validity was updated Effective November 1, 2018, the I-693 medical report will be valid for two years from the date of submission to USCIS (and not one year as it is currently). At the same time, USCIS are shortening the I-693 validity period to 60 days from the date the Civil Surgeon signs the I-693 medical exam (it used to be one year). 

 

I-693 is valid for two after you submitted to USCIS.  If you did not submitted yet to USCIS and is been more than 60 days from your doctor signature it is not valid anymore.

You did it September 2018 or you submitted it with your I-485 in September 2018????

 

If you submitted it with your I-485, then it is good until September 2019 (You will receive a notification if you have to do medical again)

 

If you did it September 2018, and did not submit it with your I-485, then it is no longer any good.

Mail from USCIS is not suppose to be forwarded. It will actually say on the envelope to not forward. Sometimes the post office sees it and sends it back other times they miss it and forward it. Do not take the chance of stuff being sent back!! Do the change of address as described in this thread (notarized to Vermont). i just read from a few pages back that you could go to interview from your original I-485 and get it approved if your husband didn’t pull the petition (per sandranj) 

WOW I wish I knew this back when I got my interview... the difference it makes having a good and bad attorney.

Received this response from my congressman. 😞 Now i have to wait.

My attorney mentioned c31 instead of c09 in i765 when i was renewing it that is the reason my EAD request cannot be expedite 😞 because of wrong category mentioned. WTH i am so so so annoyed right now

dec 6 2017 biometrics, I was never invited for biometric I just summoned courage and went there (uscis office)after waiting for long and I was scheduled for same day

 

march 13 2018 filed vawa using a lawyer

 

march 18 2018 uscis receives i360 docs

 

march 19 2018 i765 and i131 combo card approved based on pending i485. Lawyer wrote to uscis to keep my i485 and attach it to my vawa app.

 

march 25 combo card received

 

march 28 2018 wife filed for divorce. We were separated already since Jan 2018

 

april 13 2018 received first premie facie for one year (from March 13)

 

july 26 2018 divorce finalized 

 

oct 2018 applied for combo (131 &765) renewal

 

jan 22 2019 combo card approved

 

April 2 2019 prima facie extension for 6 months

 

august 2019 renewal of combo card (c9)

 

sept 3 2019 card in production notification for i360

 

sept 9 2019 ead card (31) received my lawyer.

 

i believe that some march 2018 cases are being worked on right now.  I just want to say thank you to Sandra and everyone on this forum. You’all Gave me hope. And for everyone waiting for approvals, yours will come soon. The journey will end in praise.

I haven't had my biometric ls yet because they haven't given us a date but will I get my own ARN after the biometrics then? Am so sorry you have to go through this knowing your attorney made this mistake that will affect you working while you await the adjudication of your I-360 . This shows most immigration attorneys don’t know their onion .

Thank you. I was already informed earlier of this. I will just go ahead and use the ARN# that my mom has since I'm labeled a dependent on the i360 and i485

Hey dear..it clearly states above that amongst other category of petitioners, it doesn't apply to VAWA applicants who worked unauthorized prior to AOS!

i didnt get it. means if any immigrant work unauthorized and he/she applied for vawa, he/she can adjust their status?
