Great suggestion!πŸ‘ thanks hun!😘😊 but still my options will be kept open..there are different field offices here in N.Y. some are faster than others...I believe the fastest gets you scheduled in about 7-8 months after case transfer! (Queens office) That's my field office! Let's see what happens πŸ‘€ sometimes you wake up to surprises from USCIS..been that way since the beginning!😏

Oh ok that’s nice then, so it all depends on the field office which u are in., I get it Sweety.... 😘😘😘😘yes uscis is full of surprises 😁😁😁😁😁 bless u dear

Hello everyone, I have yet to file VAWA. I’m still attending my therapy, going to my 6th session tomorrow. Today I checked the status of the I-485 that was submitted by my husband. It says that an interview was scheduled... I don’t know what to do.Β

do you have an attorney? If yes then hopefully the attorney knows the step to take next! You have to attend your interview with or without your attorney(if you have) let the USCIS officer know you intend to file for VAWA..although it would have been more convincing if you already filed and went with your receipt notice! But you can get a letter from the therapist showing you're attending therapy present it to the officer and plead with them you are about to file VAWA..this is better than nothing! My thoughts though...πŸ˜• whatever you do..attend your interview! Worst case scenario, the officer denies it..whichΒ can be mitigated by filingΒ a fresh one after filing or concurrently with i360!πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘

Hi everyone!

I just heard from my attorney that the fee waiver for my I-485 was rejected. Is it a bad sign? 😭😭😭

Of course not! It only means you need to pay!$$$ Sandra addressed this issue earlier..probably a day or two ago..read back perhaps you'll find it! USCIS are for some reason rejecting the fee waivers on some cases...maybe you didn't support your waiver with proofs as to why the fees should be waived in the first place..turns out they need their money..πŸ’° Christmas is over! LOLπŸ˜€πŸ˜€ don't fret much just pay..you'll be fine!πŸ‘
