March 2019. Attorney was notified via the courtesy letter in April 2019. I assume there is a significant wait time and a long queue to interview in NYC based on people’s experience. I don’t have interview date but since I don’t have immunization records, I know some lab tests take a while to get the results. So, in th meantime, I’m doing these tests early due to missing medical records.

Yes, please reach out to your congress representative. They should be able to help you either clear up or resolve any thing out of the ordinary/out of the norm.

I contacted my congress person and I was told that I still have to wait because NYC office is working with august 14, 2016. I filed my vawa and I-485 on October 3, 2016

 

"21.5 Months to 37.5 Months Family-based adjustment applications August 14, 2016"

Yes, this! You must for your own sake mainly for your your peace of mind. Here too people slack off. 

 

Come to to find out that my courtesy letter had been sitting there collecting dust since April 2019 and I was only notified last week. I also didn’t see updates on the website when I checked. 

 

You have to take initiative and be proactive in your own case.

I think she was trying to explain to you that her i485 was put on hold pending when her vawa gets approved when she went for her marriage based interview...just like many of us did previously..mine was in Jan2018..I went to my marriage based interview and asked that it be held in abeyance pending i360 adjudication! So yeah..she's currently waiting for her i360 to be approved!😊👍

I don't know if this truly makes any difference but which is your local office in NYC? Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx or New York New York(Manhattan)?😕 I've often heard that the queens office moves a lot faster...but with USCIS you just never know!😏
