Dear house

I applied for my EAD renewal in the March under c09 category and I applied for both EAD and advance parole I have not paid any fees and whiting 3 months got my renew combo card.

you can online and there is fee calculator on USCIS official web site if you use that it will clearly indicate no fees for EAD and advance parole as long as it is under c09 category and your green card application is pending.

please try to explain this to the USCIS if they have renewed my advance parole and EAD without fees then thus is for every one.

please also try to involve your Congress person so that he can send a serious inquiry to USCIS.

Thanks for this information. I guess it’s renewal under C31 that has to pay

That is not the case if u used a fee waiver for your I-485. You will have submit another fee waiver to renew your EAD C9. If they reject the new fee waiver then you have to pay for EAD Renewal.

Now, you made me understand . So, this applies to applicants who used fee waiver for their original I-485 ?

Anyway, if I renew this EAD it’ll be my second time . And I didn’t pay for the last C09 renewal

Anyway, I did not pay cause I have a pending green card application . It’s stated clearly on their website. If you have a pending I-485, then you don’t need to pay. Just attach your pending I-485 receipt .

To my understanding on USCIS website it states if you are an Asylee or have a C31 vawa and if you choose to renew EAD under the C09 category you’ll have to pay the 410 dollars and this does not apply to us who have a pending a green card application already in C09 category.

If am wrong, am entitled to corrected .

So when you first time subunit your I-485 , did you pay fee ?

Because uscis website calculator  said if your I-485 already pay , when you renew your C09 EAD card you don’t ness to pay .

if your I-485 didn’t pay ( fee waive ) , when you renew C09 EAD CARD , you have to pay .
