Hi, i live in Florida, my VAWA case is pending. I would like to move to Newyork, how will moving to another state affect my case? Please

soon as you move, you will notify USCIS in notarized writing and probably fill out the change of address form letting them know of this development no more than 10days after the move! 👍 your case will be transferred!

You must submit an address changed to Vermont Service Center in writing with notarized letter, and confirm with an info pass it was changed. They are messy on change of address. You must follow up the change of address until is confirm.

I have a question, I file 1-360 in August 2018 but my lawyer did not file I-765 and I-485 for me. And my EAD as been expired since Feb 2018...

My question is can I file I-765 and I-485 now that my vawa case is still pending? Because I married a USC.

And I don’t want to make any mistake as my lawyer told me that if They deny my I-765 and I-485 I will be put on deportation and removal from the US. I need the roommate advice on this and if am to file it what are the documents That i need  to include in the filling.

Thanks in anticipation.

@sandraj @stillwining!!!😊

In addition to the information I gave on this issue, Sandra will confirm😊 so don't be overwhelmed dear!👍

Hi all. I am new here. I am wondering if someone can walk me through the VAWA process. My cousin came here on a fiance visa, before he received his conditional green card he decided he had to leave his new wife because she has been abusing him. I want to help him get VAWA. Where do I start? They have their interview scheduled soon which I am going to try to reschedule.

I suggest you read from Vawa thread part 9 until now and you will be able to gather great information,if your cousin doesn/t have a police report then he/she needs to attend 5/7 therapy sessions and have a psychological evaluation done before filing VAWA,and if he has a diagnose of PTSD and/or depression then he will be able to prove abuse. To prove bonafide  marriage he  needs to submit commingling finances or an explanation why he doesn't have ok.

That hotline number is for your attorney ... your attorney should know the number ... I honestly don’t know how people can contact Vermont vawa unit if they don’t have an attorney ( forgive me but I don’t really have knowledge on that )

you need to contact your congressman TODAY, with the letter from your employer ; you need to do it TODAY

I would have rather you did it in May which would have been 3 months since your EAD expired and you could have expressed that you requested a renewal 6 months back .

however that’s my opinion and I could very well be wrong and sound extra anxious and pushy .

But I am certainly worried that 2 weeks is now really full to brim kind of situation

you probably need to do something very much today

Contacted my local senator and congressman. they will process my request to VCS by tomorrow.

Anyone currently filing from overseas?

VAWA family please welcome @natalysmile to the thread. She is attempting to file from Russia and can use our help.

She mailed her packet in early August but did not use a tracking number. Has not heard anything yet. She is wondering if she should wait longer or resend it with tracking number.

I know it can take a while to get the NOA, especially overseas. Any one with recent experience with this? Also anyone who can speak Russian would be a great help for her.

Hi All!

I'm Aug 2017 filer and I just received an e-mail my I-360 has been approved. I received my EAC approval on Aug 8. Card in hand on Aug 14th.

I read people have gotten EAC under C14, I did too. For what I've seen is that you cannot apply for Driver's License in Arizona and some other states but thankfully I don't live there.

Now the wait begins for my interview, YAY!!!!

Have faith and stay strong ❤️

Congrats. you received any RFE?
