Hi @Stillwinning!!!😊. I had my ead c14 after 23 months after i360 submitted. Now i worry 2 things:

1. Why c14 instead of c31, if my i360 approved?

2. Should i bring this ead to social security agency to apply/confirm my SSN is legit now?

Do you have any idea? Or see anything familiar? I appreciate your response

In my case im waiting for approval so i can file the i765.

@Formykidin i360, we could have ead by 2 ways:

1. Concurrently i360, i765,i485. Then the ead c9 will issued way earlier than i360approval. Ead c9 for pending case. Some attorneys, like mine, dont like that way even we are qualified to do so😫😫😫so😫😫😫

2. When i360 approved, ead c31 will come out automatically. You dont need apply i765 with i360.

My case somehow got ead c14?!?!

I and my kid were desperate for 23 months since Sep 2017. Until now....

I was waiting for too long. So now when the ead in hand and c14 kinda panicked me. If that is a mistake from uscis, i dont kbow what is waiting for me and my kid

When filing for #vawa if your spouse is a USC you file i360. I765 and i485 together.  If spouse is LPR you can only file i360 and wait for approval.

Sorry for the late response..I slept off..anyway if you weren't approved USCIS will NOT send you any EAD at all..when your i360 is approved you are automatically put in deffered action..lowest priority for removal..to give you time to adjust status! C14 is the EAD for deffered action status! Most people get C31 only..few get C31 and C14 together (at least about 3 people here has reported that) someone else reported getting just C14! I have no idea why USCIS do the things they do..but I believe you have nothing to worry about! Yes you can obtain your SSN with the C14 dear! 😊👍 all the best!

Please Guyz...How true is the news that VAWA would expire or stop 🛑 at the end of September as Congress haven’t made any decision to extend the VAWA program?

The fear that VAWA will be scrapped is not a new concern...it's been ongoing..last one I remember was last year..or so..VAWA is the sole means for abused victims of USC and LPR spouses to get relief so it's likely not going to be eliminated! Worst case scenario they make adjustments..probably to make it tougher..something on that line..as trump has been trying to "control" immigration at all levels and tighten/toughen the process generally, so you don't need to be scared as VAWA is serious! And not something they will wake up and cancel without alternatives to other forms of relief! Rest easy folks..NOT gonna happen! 👎

EAD codes and NOT everyone gets deferred action, no idea why in this last one.

The Vawa cancellation has always been a fear specially under new government administration but for this to hopper it has to go to vote to the senate/congress so far nothing to worry.

Hi Family ...,

can someone suggestion my i 485 interview was in March 13 since then no decision . My ead c31 is expiring in mid October and my deferred status will expire in Jan 2020 now i have applied for renewal of my ead got receipt but is there anyone waiting on interview decision for more than 6 months . I do not have any criminal record...

i wish my mind gets some rest ....

I am sorry you are still waiting for a final decision, just keep renewing your EAD until USCIS makes a decision on your case and meanwhile make an infopass to find out how long more and why it is taking so long...

Best wishes for prompt closure in your case 🙏🏼🇺🇸💫

Hi dear..did your interview go smoothly? I always like to start from there...but anyways you are not the only person in this situation..I've read at least about 5 people in previous threads who had to wait that long for an approval! I just wanted to let you know this morning that God's got you! Your case will be approved!🙏 while you're waiting it will help to enquire via your congressperson or schedule an infopass to know what the delay is about! I sincerely pray it resolves ASAP!👍

Morning friends.

This anxiety is killing me. EAD expiring within 2 weeks and no update yet it has been 9 months 😞

I dont want to leave my job i would be facing extreme hardships. I have submitted written inquiry as well to expedite but no update

Also, yesterday my divorce was finalized after 2 years of separation. When i saw my wife i-e ex wife there, all the torture, humiliations, insults, mental trauma that i faced because of her, i think i lived that again for a couple of hours. 😞 I am happy that she has a gone chapter of my life and now I can live my life peacefully but its so hard to forget bad memories
